I finished reading the updated Marvel Universe page on Marvel.com and it does establish, in even more detail and certainty than the Marvel Knights Encyclopedia did, that Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 did happen and that it is all part of an accepted "legacy". No way around it.

- Danny K IS bonded back to Noble K and they "are currently seeking more innocents to avenge"
- Johnny B IS bonded back to Zarathos and is "seeking more innocents to avenge" (apparently that search took place prior to going to hell)
- Johnny B's GR is "a" GR, but not the true GR. (I assume that Danny K, or more accurately Noble K, is the true GR.

1 Does this mean in future pictures we see of the Marvel Universe, we will see 2 (or more with the whole spirit"S" of vengeance angle being explored) Ghost Riders mixed in there?
2 Could we have 2 or more different GR's with their own ongoing title happening at the same time?
3 Are they going to be wearing EXACTLY the same uniform?
4 It appears they are trying to please everybody. Will it work? Should it work?

Mmmm, meh, either way, or the webmasters of Marvel are confused, or there is pretty good confusion on all levels. Anyway if they keep at least in little mistery the next GR origin they could do whatewher they want...

Wow. So Johnny has Zarathos again. Very interesting. I wonder how all that came about...

And Dan still has Noble, as he should. They are supposed to be and forever will be bonded. It's destiny. I just can't wait to see what they're up to these days.

I was just reading these profiles and I don't remember this.
Transforming nightly into the Ghost Rider, John became involved with a local motorcycle gang, Satan's Servants. Their leader, Curly Samuels, had gained the Ghost Rider's trust, until a shocked John discovered that the soul of Crash Simpson lurked within Curly's form. Mephisto had offered Crash a new life in exchange for betraying his adopted son, and Crash had eagerly accepted. The Ghost Rider's spirit was cast into Hell, where he managed to reawaken Crash's sense of honor and love. The older man sacrificed himself to help Johnny escape, making Ghost Rider promise to protect Roxanne.

yeah...think that happened in the Marvel Spotlight run in the early 70s before the ongoing series. Always thought that was a lame use for Crash Simpson character..thankfully it was pretty much forgotten as the 70s series progressed.

Yes, the whole thing is contained in the Essential GR

Hmm, I just read that Marvel Universe page myself and now realize that it's only updated to the hammer crap series for Blaze. It makes me wonder if he's still with Zarathos or not...

Well, they tried living together for a few years to see if it would work, but they decided they just weren't right for each other.

I really hate to see good couples break up.
