I mean instead of Callisto, Arclight, Quills? the brotherhood in X3 could've been:

-Lady Deathstrike (assuming she somehow survived)
-Toad
-Juggernaut
-Pyro
-Phoenix
-Magneto

I mean can you just imagine that war environment in the trailer w/ a 3-way battle royale between Logan, Sabertooth & Deathstrike? It would've been amazing! But regardless, X3 is still shaping up to be great, I was just thinking about this, spur of the moment...:)

Hopefully this will be addressed in the Wolverine spin-off...The X1 fight simply doesn't do these two characters and their rivalry justice.

Actually it was hard to tell to be perfectly honest. They didn't give him much of a chance to prove his acting abilities, so I didn't think much of him. I also wished his look was a bit different, I like Sabreooth with the shorter hair better. And the lion growl was just stupid.

I would of liked Sabertooth, Lady Deathstrike, NEVER TOAD, Juggernaut, Phoenix, Magneto, Callisto, Arclight, NO QUILLS, Mystique, Psylocke, and Pyro would of been a strong Brotherhood. Seeing Wolverine fight Sabertooth and Deathstrike would of been awesome. Colossus could come in and try to help but get smacked by Juggernaut and start figthing with him. Callisto, Arclight, Psylocke, and Pyro could fight Iceman, Kitty, Rogue, and Beast. Storm could square off against Jean, or at least try.

The only thing with the return of Sabretooth, Toad and Deathstrike is that it would have been like Mutant Resurrection when Phoenix is also added into the mix. Sorta X-Men: Day of the Dead.

Maybe all three mutants are somehow shown as being captured and held somewhere (Muir Island?, Alcatraz?)..but I doubt it, and I don't know how they would have retrieved the body of Deathstrike from Stryker's flooded base.

The fight would've been really cool. It's a pity that both of them didn't make it. I'd love to see Sabretooth, Toad and Deathstrike in the final battle, especially Deathstrike. She's awesome as heck.

Toad and Sabretooth do nothing for me. Deadstrike was lovely as portrayed by Kelly Hu, but she's over. It was a very minimally used part. Nightcrawler would be nice to have back, but I understand the reasoning. Just because someone shows up once doesn't mean they have to be a permanent fixture on the team.
I like the way the new lineup is shaping up...with one notable absence, of course: Gambit. But someone has said that they would rather give him a full chance rather than sticking him in a movie with all these characters already vying for screentime. Here's hoping for X4 or Wolverine.
