This RPG is similar to almost all others on S.H.H. exept in this continuity based off of the principle of Amalgamation. Two characters from different universes fused together as one!

RULES

*Rules marked in red are those meant to help you understand the premis more easily.

-You may choose any character from Amalgam Comics or a mixture of any two characters, one being from each universe (Marvel & DC).

-Many players may want to merge one character with another but one of those choices may have already been used to make a previous character, this will be acceptable as long as they do not have the same name, origin, background, or character fusion.(i.e. Darkclaw was a combination of Wolverine and Batman yet Bruce Wayne still existed and was the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D.)


-Your character, if self made, cannot be an amalgamation of two characters already combined by the comics, or another player.

-All characters can interact with each other.

-Characters from alternate time lines are allowed but must be approved.

-No Killing. Unnamed, faceless NPC's may be killed, but not major characters, or taken characters. Someone else may want to take up the character, or they may be important to another story.

-You can go anywhere within the galaxy, certain rules may be put in place for planets that have already been long destroyed, such events will be determined by players posts.

-You are your character, so act like it. Talk like them, use their dialogue. Do not exaggerate your powers, or pop-up here and there without explanation. BE Your character.

-Several stories can be going at once, and you have the freedom to interact with other characters.

-You must post at least once every two weeks, though it is preferred that you post more. If you go two weeks without a post without prior notice, your character is up for grabs.

-Be serious. No slander or impractical actions from your character. Example: I found a crystal and now I own the world! You're all my slaves!

-And of course, all regular rules of the Hype apply.

-Have fun.

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: Darkclaw. Logan Wayne, a metamutant with an advanced healing factor, and enhanced sences. After witnessing the death of his parents, Logan was moved to Alberta Canada with his uncle who was later murderd. When he was older he joined the armed forces, and later the Canadian Weapon X program where his bones where laced with adamantium. After he was detremined as inefective as a weapon due to his conscience, he trained in martial arts and criminlogy, he has now decided to dedicate his life to fighting crime.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. PERFECT amalgamation of my two favorite characters!

2. I have always wanted to play an Amalgam character!

3. I have expierence with Wolverine and would love to see his essence transfered into a differnt light.

Screen Name: Watchman

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: Bloody Joker( a combination of the Joker and Deadpool). An ex-military man turned criminal was caught by Canadian authorites and was subjected to the Weapon X program. The experiments left him horribly deformed giving him a scarred face with bleached white skin and crimson red lips he also losted all his hair. The experiment though gave him a great healing factor and combine that with his fighting skills the Government though they had a new weapon on their hands. Giving him the alais Wade Wilson he was let loose on his first mission. But combine the trauma of all the fighting he did and the insanity from the experiment he killed everyone including the hostages. The Government has not seen him since and is at large.
Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. I want to write for Deadpool

2. I wanted to write for the Joker

3. The insanity of both these characters would just be a fun character

Start from scratch if you want, this realy hasnt been done before so why not. Also you dont have to use one of the pre-made characters.

Ummm, guys? I just wanted to say. I don't think creating your own amalgams is a very good idea. It could get very very messy. You should just stick with the characters from the Amalgam Comics.

The Amalgam comics are messy anyway. Not many people know all the characters and history of them, it's just confusing.

I think it's ok to merge you own characters if you do it well, people with similar character/powers/lives etc. For example not merging a villain with a hero.

Ya it will be fine, thats why I made the specific rules for this RPG and all characters still have to be aproved first, so I and My AGMs, will be able to insure that everything roles soomthly.

The Amalgam comics are messy anyway. Not many people know all the characters and history of them, it's just confusing.

So there's no need to make it worse. There are plenty of established characters in Amalgam. Many of whome were only barely touched upon, giving the RPer a huge oportunity for character developement. We really shouldn't add on any more.

He was close to death when he designed a suit of armor using a battery, which reminded him of a lantern. The suit of armor not only allowed him to survive, but gave him incredible powers, allowing him to create any object he pleased out of a green energy, and he has enhanced strength from wearing the suit.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. I like iron man.

2. Green Lantern is the only person im kinda formiliar with.

3. I really like the different kinds of things he could do using his powers.:D

Ummm, I don't think that's such a good idea. It really wouldn't work if we had a bunch of Spider Man or Joker amalgamations running around. We should really stick to what happened in the comics.

Q-man, its cool, dont worry about it. Its gona be fine I assure you. Everyone can still pick characters from the Comics, and I'm sure that most people will, but this allows for some real artistic creation and I'm sure some realy good storylines aswell. I'm gona run with it for a while and if it proves to be to much of a hassle, than we wont do it anymore, but I sevierly doubt we will have that problem. Just relax, watch it in action before you pass judgment. Also, what character are you interested in? We could use a good Supersoilder.

(then continue on the Amalgam as an A.U/ What If thing)

As it is, I'll be joining up... can't decide who as though.... argh

I just had an idea, figured I'd throw it out there for anyone who would wana use it.



MOONBAT!

Amalgamation: A cross between MoonKnight and Batman.

Real Name: Either Marcus Meginus, or Terry Spector (As to keep Logan and Bruce the only two Waynes) or if he were a Wayne, Marcus Wayne.

Bio & Powers: (His name here) was a mercenary. He was left for dead on a mission after refusing to kill civilians. He managed to crawl to a mysterious statue of the the Zapotec Bat god Piquete Ziña. Piquete Ziña chose to inhabit him to emulate the superheroing adventures of other gods such as All Highfather Odin and Thorion, reviving him. Moonbat's powers only function at night especially when the moon is full. He has the power of flight, harnesed through his cape as wings, night vision, the ability to detect and harm supernatural beings, and can blend into shadows or darkness. His strength, durability, agility, and stamina are all enhanced at night. Lastly, he seems to recover even from seemingly fatal wounds while in the light of the moon.

Q, ya made your point man, and I respect your opinion, but this is how we're gona do it for now. Ok. As far as anyone worried about everyone trying to mix a character with Batman, dont worry it wont happen, the limit of usage of a character is 3, only 3 people can use one of the same amalgamated characters. I'm just saying, having more Batman copies than necesairy could really hurt the quality of the RPG. Why allow self made characters at all? What does it add?

It adds the chance for people to create characters that they have always wanted to see. Could you just imagine the possibilities? Silversufer with a green lantern ring, General Zod combined with The Red Skull, hell even a combonation of Superman and Sentry would be cool! I'm not going to allow a constant party of Batmen and Supermen to run amok, but I've heard requests for this ever since I created the one Universe RPG, now this will give them the ability to have that artistic creation with their characters and mix the best of both worlds. It adds the chance for people to create characters that they have always wanted to see. Could you just imagine the possibilities? Silversufer with a green lantern ring, General Zod combined with The Red Skull, hell even a combonation of Superman and Sentry would be cool! I'm not going to allow a constant party of Batmen and Supermen to run amok, but I've heard requests for this ever since I created the one Universe RPG, now this will give them the ability to have that artistic creation with their characters and mix the best of both worlds. The thing is, there ahve already been RPGs in the past that allow origional creations. The Malgam comics already exist. You shouldn't use origional creations in it. If you want to create an RPG for origional creations, then do that. But making one that's a mix is just a bad idea.

2) I'm playing Moon Knight in the OU RPG, and currently working on a story for him. I also want to try and see what I can do with this character.

2. I play Sabretooth everywhere else (I'm unoriginal like OC, heh), so I had to have an amalgam involving him too.

3. I have so many plotlines I can go off of on my own (considering he is from about 50,000 BC) in case I am unable to post often and I already have a basic overview of my character's personality.

What can you bring to this game? An interesting villain with literally tons of links throughout history. He is also immortal, which I think should be something not that uncommon in this RPG considering the calibre of the heroes involved.

Yea it was crazy down here in Dallas. Rainfall in different areas around the metroplex were between 4 and 9 inches. It literally rained for like a day and a half straight.

And of course the worst of it came the night the Perfect Disaster was on. If you've seen the previews for it, it's the one about the Super Tornado that will hit Dallas someday. It was a very comforting show. :(

Yea it was crazy down here in Dallas. Rainfall in different areas around the metroplex were between 4 and 9 inches. It literally rained for like a day and a half straight.

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: Speed Demon (Blaze Allen), a combination of flash and ghost rider. Super-speed, generation and manipulation of fire, super-strength, and flight.

1. Ghost Rider is by the far the biggest bad ass in existance.

2. With slightly limited knowledge of DC universe Flash is my favorite DC character.

No regualar characters in this continuity, BUT there is a combination of Apocalypse and someone already in Amalgam that you are free to use as an NPC. As far as using infinates GO AHEAD! Just try to combine them in some way with some project from DC, but if you can't thats cool. As far as sentinels, there is something that is already in the works for their creation, but perhaps after they are made you could ge yur hands on some :)

Work on preparing Thanosieds forces a bit more, an all out invasion at this point in time would just resemble "One Universe" a little to much. Its just a little to early, but once everyone has established there characters a bit more feel free! Maybe you could have him going after the Iron Lantern specificaly because of his alien powers, and all other the other green lanterns or whatver Amalgam calls them.

Also you should proboby make Lanterns interaction with the infiants a little less specific, he would know what they were. try to just decribe them more than giving them a name, that is unless his Armor is somehow telling him what they are, than that would make perfect sence :up:

The alien that you got the battery from might have been, maybe during those "Secret Wars" I hinted at earlier, and now the battery is transfering his memories to you. Could be fun.

If I were you I would establish your character's personality and story a little bit more before making posts heading right into sending out infinites. That will be better for developing your character than recruiting a bunch of villains.

sachs, you don't have to be either of those characters, you may create your own amalgam, but one character must be from DC and the other from Marvel. No matter who you pick, or make, you will end up having to establish his personality and such, so do what fits you best.
