Weird. Not a single picture of the actual T, AND it's not being sold thru Warner Bros or any of WB's known T-Shirt licensees. The only proof that it's officially licensed is that the guy trying to make money off of it SAYS it's officially licensed.

It's some middle-man type weirdness. They do the same thing on eBay. Some dude puts an auction where he claims he can get you something cool--except all he's doing is waiting for real stuff to come out, so HE can buy it, and then overcharge YOU for it. He's not gonna get it any sooner than you will, and chances are it's gonna cost more than through the official channels, which you'd think would be pre-selling this themselves at this point if there was any legitimacy to a pre-sale.
This seems to be the same thing.

Thanks to Dave for the plug and Strange for the endorsement.
This thread was just brough to my attention and I want to assure everyone that WickedCoolStuff.com is a legitimate company, and we sell only Officially licensed merchandise. We have been online since 1999, have a 5 star rating from Yahoo and have hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers.
The reason there is no photo of the Superman Returns shirt yet is that they haven't been printed yet. Nothing to take a picture of.
The shirt we are currently taking pre-orders for is to be printed by Changes, an official licensee of Superman and DC properties. This is a dense-ink printed shirt where the "S" has texture beyond simply screen printing. It won't stick off the shirt as much as the one in the movie photos apparently does, but that would be sort of uncomfortable to wear anyway.
In the coming week we will also begin taking pre-orders for a regular screen-printed version of the Superman Returns shirt. This is being printed by Trevco, another official licensee of Superman and DC properties. The Trevco shirt will also be the Superman Returns version of the "S" on a royal blue shirt available in Adult, youth and child sizes.
Rest assured we do not charge for pre-orders until the item is in stock and ready to ship. We inspect our merchandise for quality and do our best to get it to you as quickly as possible. As soon as they are printed and shipped to us, we will begin processing and shipping pre-orders. Once all pre-orders are filled, then we will sell the shirt like any other item on our site.
Any questions, I'll be happy to answer.
Brett

I still don't understand why Warner's doesn't capitalize on all the differing variations of logo: The Movie Marketing logo from 78, the actual Logo Reeve wore on his chest, the Logo George Reeves wore, the Jim Lee logo, the Frank Miller logo...those would be cool.

You will, once they're printed and there's something to take a photo of.
We now also have the screen printed (not hi density) logo up for pre-order. This is not a photo, it's a photoshop mock-up, but it gives you a better idea - available in adult and child sizes...

I know you're like me, when you see someone walking down the street in a Superman tee shirt, you just want to shoot them in the chest. And when they start to bleed go, "I guess not." I got my shirt today. I'd take better pics but my new cam's battery is dead from shooting a bluegrass festival the past weekend. Oh, and I'm not really this pale, :) it's the direct sun light coming in from the window.

I got that same shirt just the other day. I only wish it was a little bluer and I should have gotten an XL rather than just a large because it shrank when I washed it.

Yeah, I thought it would be bluer myself. More like this:

Did you dry it before it shrank? What I do with t-shirts like this is wash it and when it's done washing, 'fling' it out to sorta stretch it back out. Then I hang dry it. Usually I shrink stuff worse than a mad scientist, but this method works.

got mine through the other day too.. havn't stopped wearing it yet (peuw!). But (and I can't believe I'm gonna say this) I find the \S/ to be too big! I mean it looks cool and all, but I just think it would have been better to have it the actual size.
whiter
06-15-2006, 11:24 AM
I receved mine last week I think, I really dig the size of the \S/, what botthers me is how pale is the red, it almost look pink. The "S" texture make the \S/ look pink, so, after thinking about it for a long time, I decided to take action, I brushed a darker red on it with a paint that ain't supposed to remove easily. Now, the \S/ is just perfect, I guess I'll see if the paint is as tough as I intend it to be when I'll wash it!
newmexneon
06-15-2006, 12:58 PM
But does it still have the raised 3-D look to it after you painted it?
whiter
06-15-2006, 04:52 PM
Yes it did, I brush painted it, this technique means that after putting paint on my brush, I get rid of a big amount of paint on a paper near by, so that way, when I finaly paint the shield, there's just enough paint on it to slightly color the \S/. I don't know if you understand what I mean, I'm not to good to explain stuff. I would post a picture of what it look like but I don't how to do it!

I've bought one so ill let everyone know what its like. I also bought one of these: http://i22.ebayimg.com/04/i/07/36/e3/f9_1_sbl.JPG
and its truly rubbish, nothing like the picture at all. The yellow is really dark and faded, the S looks smaller and overall it looks cheap. What I might do is take the 3D 'S' off the black t-shirt, and stick it on the blue one above :supes:

I think there are a few. I have a black and silver one, but it's not raised, and I have a raised one, on a darker blue shirt, then theres the lighter blue one, and your black one.. So yeah there are variations, and I'm sure a few more we HAVEN'T seen yet.:supes:
