Now, I did that to setup for this:

Bruce Wayne will be holding a rather high profile event at Wayne Manor in Gotham. The purpose behind this is to get some much needed interaction going, and to jumpstart the game's activity entirely. So, what I need is for anyone who wants to take part to state that you want to be in it, and I'll figure out a logical excuse for Bruce to invite you. If you're on the list, and... well, don't want to be on it, state that aswell.

The Guest List, So Far:

Perry White (Who will decline, sending Lois Lane and Clark Kent in his place)
Conner Jones (Resident Teen Superhero = Celebrity = Attention, which is what Bruce wants for the event)
Barry Allen (Public Superhero = Celeb)
Dinah Lance (Both Bruce and Batman know her well enough)
Roy Harper (Fellow Billionaire, right?)
Lex Luthor (Same as Harper)
Captain James Gordon (Police Captain Of Gotham City... Likely to bring a certain daughter)
Oswald Cobblepot (NPC... anyone who wants to use him can)
Edward Nigma (An old colleague)

Anyway, I'll add/delete from this list. I won't start this until next week, after the boards are back from matience, so you'll have plenty of time to say if you want a part or not. Nobody's being forced, this is only preliminary so I'll know who to mention. If you're not confirmed by the time the party starts, your character just won't get mentioned... But I'd appreciate confirmation.

Oops, didn't know that someone was playing Hourman already.

I was just going to say that Rick is paralyzed from the neck down, but is still a brilliant scientist who developed a pill that would fully mobilize him and give him super strength for an hour day. If it lasted any longer he would run the risk of dieing or brain damage.

I'd explore how a crippled person would react to having an hour a day in the body of a super hero. Would he use it selfishly or be heroic?

Character You Would Like To Play: Mirror Master

Basic History Of The Character: Mirror Master, real name Evan McCulloch, is part of a group known as The Society and leader of the antihero group known as the Injustice Gang. The Society is an organization based in the U.K which reaches back to the early days of the JSA. During that time the JSA was covered up by the government by a few rich and powerful men learned about the group. They viewed them as a danger to their investments. Led by James "Gentlemen" Craddrock he formed the Society. After many years of battle with the JSA Craddrock finally died but somehow still funded the Society but the whole group went underground. Recently, with the arrival of the new heroes the Society has come back know funding a group that they set up known as the Injustice Gang, think of it as a punk rock villain group. The members include- Manchester Black, the team's psychic. The Shade, Richard Swift bored with the rich lifestyle searches for new thrills. He found the technology to control darkness. He adopted the identity of the Shade and later recurited by the Society. Blockbuster- Roland Desmond, the team's muscle. A soccer hoodlum and rugby player who later would work for many London gangs and made his way up the ladder until reaching the Society who in returned enhanced his strength on an unatural level. The Mad Hatter, Jarvis Tetch is a man that has a obession with the story Alice in Wonderland. He is the teams electronic expert the only problem is that he is a big LSD user. The leader Mirror Master, Evan McCulloch is a former M16 agent. His family was caught in accident cause by a wouldbe superhero turning him to become an orphan. On a misson that superhero accompany him. Evan shot him to death for revenge. After that his was discharged from M16 and his hatred for heroes remain and grew. The Society liked what they saw him and gave him technology beyond his dreams. This equipment allows him to tap into the mirror dimension. He he can travel through any reflected surface and use mirrors as weapons. He also sport duel laser pistols.

1. I feel that when I ultimize Metallo I didn't really ultimized him. I think this was a much better job.

Could you give me a quick run down on ultimate Hourman? Also, just out of curiosity, I'd like to know about ultimate Superboy as well.

Any word on letting me give Catman, Hugo Strange, and maybe a couple other characters a test run at the Wayne party?

I'm playing Ultimate Super-Boy, and he's quite literally tied up at the moment. I'm having trouble moving this arc along, but I'll try my hardest to get it moving again. It was supposed to introduce several NPCs (Etrigan, Constantine) and be a lead in to my Ultimate Monarch/Extant story). Character You Would Like To Play: J'onn J'onnz, the Martian Manhunter

Basic History Of The Character: The last survivor of the Martian race, J'onn was accidentally transported to Earth at the end of his planet's civil war. A war which wiped out all life on Mars. J'onn has been living on Earth since the fifties under the guise of John Jones, a private investigator in South Florida.

There he makes a decent living helping the less fortunate as Mr. Jones, but he sometimes moonlights as a mythical vigilante figure the papers have dubbed the Manhunter from Mars.
J'onn has come to terms with being the last Martian in the universe, but the recent Rover missions gave him hope that somehow his people might have survived. His hopes were dashed however when they reported back with no signs of any intelligent life present on the planet.
Devestated once more, and hating himself for even thinking there was hope to begin with, J'onn has given up his vigilante and detective life and has been stuck in a bottle of whiskey ever since...

Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character: I like J'onn. He's green, and green's a sweet color. I want to play as someone to kill some time until another character becomes available. :o

Right now, he's been beaten up and humiliated by a mob boss in Gotham. Basically he's going to reach the end of his eb. Now, i'm going to have him offered a chance at being a hero with one of two organisations:

The Green Lantern Corps: Intergalactic police force of beings known as the Guardians who work for a race of 'Ascended' beings. Armed with a power ring (capable of manipulating energy into contructs/energy blasts and translating all known languages), and other gadgets that the overseers deem necersary for each mission.

OR

The Sinestro Division: A black ops division of the GLC, who are very much walking the line in terms of justice. Unlike the GLC, the Sinestro Corps is overseen by Manhunter, a sentient computer that is designed to weigh up the odds of missions and instruct the Guardians within the division on who to save and who to sacrifice. Using a powering based on a higher spectrum, they override most Guardian rings (proving their superiority) unless the weilder has an overwhelming source of willpower (if their need is greater).

But I don't know which one would suit Guy more :( lil help?

She doesn't know him well enough but if he's on a case at the time she'll wanna look into it.

No JLA..we all agreed it was too early for that we're having to much fun alone. :)
Dinah is primarily a detective, and her two jaunts as a Hero have ended badly..so hopefully she'll develop as a hero full time in a little while.

Also, P-Man Wildcat has been introduced as well as all the Golden Age JSA members *lots of wiggle room though.* In fact I've got a post I wrote up a while ago with Wildcat..sorry.:(

Interesting. Supes hasn't been around long enough to be much of an inspiration to anyone. But, I've already had the idea of Metropolis having a few solo, non powered vigilantes that predate Superman. Steel could be one of them.

Could you give me a quick run down on ultimate Hourman?
Well I only wrote like 3 posts. Basically his best friend got cancer he promised he'll fine a way to help, he starts working on a cure and Bannermain Chemical. hears of this and hires Rex he drops from college to work fulltime. Midway his friend dies and Rex just drops the project and he starts working on other things. Bannermain leaves the company and a up and comer named Roy McFarlane takes over. Rex's other friend Zeke just
finished college and joined Rex at Bannermain. Dr Rocco Togg starts hybriding creatures, PETA hears of this and sues. Rumors start that Lex Corps want to add a new branch. Roy wants to inpress Lex and takes a risk with Miraclo. The case ends and Bannermain loses the case and almost file for bankruptcy. Lex then goes ahead and buys another company. Now Miraclo is in pre-production and they need a new person to invested in Miraclo. On the side note Rex does not live in New York City but he lives in Metropolis' Suicide Slum at the moment.

Basically his best friend got cancer he promised he'll fine a way to help, he starts working on a cure and Bannermain Chemical. hears of this and hires Rex he drops from college to work fulltime. Midway his friend dies and Rex just drops the project and he starts working on other things. Bannermain leaves the company and a up and comer named Roy McFarlane takes over. Rex's other friend Zeke just
finished college and joined Rex at Bannermain. Dr Rocco Togg starts hybriding creatures, PETA hears of this and sues. Rumors start that Lex Corps want to add a new branch. Roy wants to inpress Lex and takes a risk with Miraclo. The case ends and Bannermain loses the case and almost file for bankruptcy. Lex then goes ahead and buys another company. Now Miraclo is in pre-production and they need a new person to invested in Miraclo. On the side note Rex does not live in New York City but he lives in Metropolis' Suicide Slum at the moment.

Maybe if I'm approved, we could have Rex and Rick show up at the party. Rex could sort of use his son to get some sympathy from Wayne, and have Bruce throw some money his way.

Also, I still want to test out Catman and see how he works. I think it would be interesting having Catman in Gotham, and having Bruce and Thomas both sort of assume they know eachothers alter egos.

Haha, I didn't know you were a GM :( when I think of GM's I think of Batnkevlar and Master Bruce... sometimes Twy. Bruce Wayne will be holding a rather high profile event at Wayne Manor in Gotham. The purpose behind this is to get some much needed interaction going, and to jumpstart the game's activity entirely. So, what I need is for anyone who wants to take part to state that you want to be in it, and I'll figure out a logical excuse for Bruce to invite you. If you're on the list, and... well, don't want to be on it, state that aswell.

Basic History Of The Character: Hal Jordan is a test pilot at an airbase in California, co-owned by Ferris Enterprise and the US Air Force. A womaniser and a clown, he is well-liked by most of his colleagues, although some percieve his self-assurance as arrogance and do not hesitate to make their dislike for him known. However, Hal will soon have his life completely changed in his opening arc, "A Warrior Falls"...

Good day, ladies and gentlemen. This might be completely premature and may never develop into anything, but I might end up with time to write in an RPG again soon, and I think I might try this one out.

To those who don't know me from the regular DC RPG, I've been playing the villain, Parasite, in that game since nearly the beginning, taking short stints as both the Joker and Lex Luthor, but I've always returned to the Parasite in the end. Recently though, I had to announce my (presumed at the time) retirement from RPing because of very extensive and troubling issues in my personal life. This retirement was supposed to take effect once the current season of the DC RPG concludes. However, some of the pressure that was on me seems to be subsiding somewhat, so I may have more free time than I originally thought I would.

If that does end up being the case, it should come as no surprise to those posters who know me and my taste in characters that I'm thinking about playing a Superman rogue. This time, I've got my eye on Ultimate Blackrock.

I won't put in an application because I don't know if I can really commit to writing the character on a regular basis as of this moment, but I'd just like to throw the idea out there and try to reserve the character, if possible.

Works out fine. We can even say that Project: Justice is a very old government protocol that just hasn't been used in a while. Back in WWII, it resulted in the JSA.

I WOULD like to have Dinah involved in more detective work but it's hard..:( She's having a very hard time fitting into the 'hero' identity so she might be a detective only in this RPG..none of the Villians OR Heroes have given her a chance :(

I been working on some ideas for my next post so far I got some ideas, I just need some help to see which one I should use. The first one is that Rex gets thrown out of the party and the next one would be that Rex never even gets in the party because he gets his car jacked.

I was going with the car jacking idea and he wonders around Gotham he finds his old co-worker Dr Togg who's buying some new parts for his machine from Intergang.

Well, my idea for intergang is that a few decades back, before Lex Luthor showed up and metropolis was still a rather small city, the only real criminal threat where a handful of street gangs. At one point, one of the gang members tried what Cirus did in the Warriors. Brought all the gangs together into one big gang. They eventually renamed themselves Intergang after the Inter-turf truce that brought them together in the first place. As Metrolis grew, they grew with it, and are now a major crime syndicate.

that sound about right but I wanted Dr Togg to meet Intergang in Gotham. Maybe their make a move in Gotham, sound to much like 52. I'll work out something.
