My girlfriend, who didn't read the graphic novel and actually finds it childish of me to be interested in such things, absolutely loved the movie. She said that it "is easily in my top 5 favorite movies of all time."

Cool. My wife wasn't really into comics when we met, but she watched the "X-Men" series religiously, & she loved "Batman" 89 as well as the X-Men movies.
Now she'll read any title that sounds interesting, is a HUGE Black Panther fan & went nuts over "V". In fact, she's mad at me right now for not telling her about it being in IMAX; we'll most likely be doing that this weekend.

To DWIGHT 22

I still dont' understand how anyone can hate this movie. They may not like it, but to 'hate' it? What a great couple with great tastes in movies...

My girlfriend..LOVED the ideals and characters of the movie. She loved the opening speech made by V, and thought it was clever.

My friend's girlfriend really liked the movie.

My mom seems really interested in it. Says she likes the concept of it.

I liked it (7.5/10) My sister seems like she kinda had huge problems with it (I did too, gave it a 6 to 6.5 out of ten) My mom liked it and my neice never really tells me what she likes, I assume she thought that it was okay. Nobody loved the movie though.

I'm a girl by the way.

I'm a girl and I loved the movie. I actually had to convince my boyfriend to see it with me in the theater--he thought it was just okay.

I'm a girl (GaspHorrorShock!) And I adored this movie!
(and yes, you bum, *glares at War Lord* I can think.)

I loved the entire movie, (although I was not too partial to the violence.) The view of the future scared me, really, it could happen! And the story made you really think. And (call me an overly sensitive female) but I cried at then end.
Oh, and I had another reason to like it that guys never would:

V.

Oh my god V.

I am in love with a fictional character. His voice is like oh I dunno, melted butter on silk. Or Something like that. And the way he moves and talks, and id such a gentleman. Oh god, I'm in love. But yeah. I'm a crazy rabid fangirl, so shoot me.

I'm Renn by the way.

Why isn't there a sister option? Anyway, my sister liked it just not as much as me.

I'm a girl and to the jack whoever said "girls think?"...............XDWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I loved this movie. The action, the story, the acting. The only problem I had was the rememberance of the woman from the detention cells. I'm straight so it isn't hard to guess why I had a wierd time with part, but then again I just don't like sex at all in my movies.

The action rocked. The history rocked. It was one of the best stories I've ever seen put into movie form. I'm sooooooooooo glad I decided to watch V instead of Ultraviolet hehehe.

I don't remember them having sex in the movie, just falling in love.

Well then couldn't you say that about almost every movie made. Usually someone is in love or married or dating in a film.

True, but I don't enjoy watching other people do stuff, ya know.

Hey, it's cool. I dragged my wife to see it once & she dragged me to it twice. At this time I realized she has a weakness for black capes; she's very big on Black Panther, Darth Vader, Batman, Zorro, the Count of monte Cristo & of course, V.

I, a girl, 22, loved it. Saw it twice, and want to see it again. I took my mom to see it on my 2nd time, and she loved it. Heck, she was in tears at the end.

I'm a girl going on 17. my dad took me, my sis and mom to see it.
My sister thought it was ok, but she's not a big fan of movies and esp. action. though she loves 'a walk to remember'. I think that was practically the only movie she wants to watch again.
My mom? no comment. she doesnt really have much comments for movies. the only movie she ever gave a positive comment on was pride and prejudice which she loved because she studied the novel during her schooling days. the other comments she made were either sarcastic or negative.
My dad......... the minute we got into the car after the movie he said:
That was a BAD.. movie. too much violence and nonsence. The british must have hated it.
For me? I LOVED IT!! Watched it so many times and wish i still had the time to watch it again. but nobody will go to the cinema with me to watch it again.:( I loved the plot. the action was ok, cause i've seen better although i cannot recall from which movie. It was a little fake. no offence, i actually quite like action movies next to romance. the explosions were great! i esp loved the part where the fireworks started to come out and formed the letter V. As for the part where the buildings blew up, there wasnt much virtual effects because i went to the official web site and they had lots of videos of the making of the explosion parts. practically most of it was real except for the building itself being just a model of the real thing. but if you go to the official site, theres a lot you can learn about the movie from there. the camera frames used to film the explosions was extremely high, 200 frames/sec(standard: 24 frames/sec) so maybe thats why it looked more graphycally edited.
anyway, saying too much here(but thats only because i have nobody to talk to about the film) As a girl, my favourite part of the movie was, of course, the developing romance. hehehe. my second favourite is the smart comments that V always seemed to have. He's so cool in that way. hahah. and i loved the ending too. it was sad when he died. but i didnt cry until the 3rd or 4th time i watched the movie. dunno why i'm so slow in processing the sadness of this particular movie.
Anyway, saying too much again. In one sentence: I LOVED THE MOVIE AND WANT TO WATCH IT AGAIN!!!

And chris wallace, your wife is funny. in a good way. LMAO.

I saw the movie last weekend and I can't stop thinking about it. Hugo Weaving was just amazing as V and Natalie was terrific too. I hadn't read anything about it, so went in not knowing what I was going to see. We had just heard it was good. I would love to see it again since I have come to these boards and read more about it. I enjoyed seeing all those English actors too.
