I really don't see Halle, Famke or Marsden returning, Stewart is kind of a toss-up to me.

As for enemies, well I believe Vinnie's exact words were "Please, God!" when asked if he wanted to return. So if they could find a way to bring him back, he would probably work. Although he could become a good guy, too. As for anyone else, it'd depend on the story.

If the Brotherhood will be that small, why not add Magnetos children? Polaris, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver. I'm confused about Scarlet Witch. Currently, she had 2 sons, who then died, and then her memories were erased of them, and then put back. Did they actually exist?

Well Pyro was an X-man in the first movie, and most of the 2nd movie. They can always start her off in the Brotherhood, and then she joins the X-men. Like a reversal of the Pyro thing. Plus, Pyro is probably like a son to Magneto, and then he loses a daughter to Storms X-men.

I think Angel's role in X-3 was so short, he should be in more of X-4. Maybe have a twist where Magneto abandons Pyro, and Pyro asks for his forgiveness and joins the X-men again. Or someone like Avalanche or Quicksilver takes his place as 2nd in command, and Pyro gets pissed.

Those who come back:

Prof. X- He is alive, and is reclaiming his position as headmaster
Cyclops- he is alive, is rescued and wants to return to his leader status, plus an explanation of what happened to Jean and the rest
Jean- Her body is kidnapped by Nathaniel Essex (Sinister), try to revive her, result: The phoenix personality took total control of her mind and body, becoming the Destructive Dark Phoenix, it escapes, and creates chaos on every place she goes, (manifesting the firebird)
Rogue- her powers comes back, but she is not alone in this.....
Nightcrawler- because of what happened on X3, he is back to help Storm on the institude.

Jubilee- Iceman broke with Rogue, so how about jubilee become the new love interest???

Sage- Prof. X secret spy is out to help the team while spying the Hellfire Club
