The deaths SUCKED. No Cameos by Kimberly or Officer Burke from Final Destination 2 (while at the end they live we still don't know if they are even alive. You would think after Clear came back for Final Destination 2 they would be back for this) Most of the Cast Members were annoying as crap. I thought this was going to be at least decent because the guy who made the first one came back for this but it was crap, crap, crap :down:down:down

As I said I enjoyed the First One & since the Original Director did this Movie I thought it might be okay & who said I paid to see it or I was the one that paid to begin with

I liked it... more than the 1st I'd have to say.. That may change if I ever saw it again, I dunno. 2nd is probably my fave of the trilogy though.

One thing I noticed about the 3rd one and someone may be able to correct me here 'cos I'm not 100% sure of this but...

That Franky G dude, with the camera, in her vision of the accident his videocamera gets stuck to the track and when the kart runs over it the sparks from it cause the oil tank (whatever it is) underneat the kart to explode which is what causes the accident...

So if this guy doesn't get on in the real event, shouldn't the accident not have happened?

Good point & I found it weird that how she ended up taking Pictures during the entire Accitdent in the Preminition they were there in the Camera when things came back to reality

That had to be the weirdest part

No, I disagree totally. I enjoyed the very much and IMO it is FAR from the worst sequel ever. There are many much worse sequels,

To name a few...

Troll 2
Jursassic Park III
Batman & Robin
Deuce Bigalow: European Gigalo
Leprechaun: Back 2 Da' Hood
The Lost World: Jurassic Park
Jaws 3
Jaws: The Revenge
Childs Play 3

Of all Final Destination movies, Final Destination 3 was the best.Even though we watch those movies for the gore, I have to give them credit of actually trying to make a better story this time and getting more of a horror feel which the last two failed to do imo

Deaths sucked....have you seen the first one? Which had far less innovative/cool deaths than this one.

I thought this was better than 1, but not as good as 2.

The first film tried too hard to be dark, but didn't go far enough to achieve it and threw in stupid crap that didn't fit in with the attempted tone like Sean William Scott's goofy comedy routine.

3 had way better deaths, the supporting characters were irritating as hell, but I cared about the leads, and I give them credit for having the balls to kill off the main characters, where the first film pulled back, to a fault.

I give FD2 the most credit, because it didn't even try to be dark. It aimed to be a fun romp, which fits this franchise best, and it had the most innovative death scene choreography and best gore of the 3.

They should have never made the sequels. The first one was good because it was something different imho :o

Fair enough, but whoever paid for it... even if it was free... obviously paid too much. Hell, I sat through the worst movie ever made - xXx: State of the Union - because my old man borrowed it from a friend and wanted someone to watch it with, and I still wanted to write to the producers of the movie and demand they compensate me for 2 hours of my life.

I'm case you didn't notice, I'm actually spoofing a reply I got from an earlier thread, when I said "Batman Begins" make "Batman & Robin" look good.

I meant the same thing you meant, but the guys here took it as "I LIKE "BATMAN & ROBIN!".

Worst sequel ever?

I really enjoyed Final Destination 3. I thought the deaths were really good, not one of the cliche ones. Most of them made me jump out of my seat more than the first two movies. Worst sequel ever? Disagreed.

I actually liked FD3. It was defitnitly better than the 2nd. IMHO.

And for the record ... the worst sequel ever is the Sandlot 2. It completely kills the good name of the original.:down

This movie has been on HBO a lot lately, I started watching after the catastrophe the other day and thought the movie was bad, horrible acting, deaths were way too overdone, (one of the best deaths in the original was the bus that came out of nowhere). Then I saw the catastrophe that showed the guy with the video camera getting off the ride, the thing that actually caused the catastrophe is gone, so the accident on the roller coaster shouldn't have even happened. That made the movie just that much worse in my eyes, glad I didn't pay to see it.

Final Destination 3 was horrid. The beauty of the first film was that the signs Alex experienced were a lot more vague. It wasn't so focused on, "This is how (insert character) is going to be horribly bludgeoned or decapitated". The whole film was just an excercise in how gruesome whe can make the deaths, to say nothing of the fact that every death is preceded with the main characters going out of their way to prove that death is coming for them, and the person that's gonna die of course doesn't believe them, then they die. And it seemed like everyone's deaths involved head trauma (Frankie Cheeks, token black guy, Instant Star Chick, etc.). Not to mention the lack of any real logic. The one dude goes on the internet and finds out EVERYTHING him and the girl need to know about cheating death, and death having a plan, as if it was a matter of public record. Remember, there's no mortician to lay out all this exposition this time.

As for the two surviving characters from the last movie, they died. The end of FD3, a newspaper blows by with their pictures on it, and the special features on the DVD show the actual headline about their deaths.

Those 2 from FD2 weren't available for shooting. The original plan was for Kim and Burke to be on the same train that Wendy, Julie and Kevin were on.

So to bring closure to those characters, Kimberly and Officer Burke both died. Offscreen. They were killed by a wood chipper.
