is it just me, or at the end of tv spot 13, it looks like the soldiers are getting demolecularized? it's that scene that everyone said looked like bullet time...it looked like the soldier (starting from the feet up) was disintegrating...if that's the case, that better not happen to cyke!

Not bad. Not bad at all. I'll give this to Ratner, he sure knows how to visualize everyone's powers. And color me suprised, but Halle was actually really good during her scene. Scott was great for what we saw. And I actually thought parts of the church scene were well done. Loved tha Phat thing. Very nice. The only scene that seemed rushed was the Angel scene for some reason. But I did like that he flew out in front of all the protestors. Jean looked scary as hell and not too spoilery. Nice. Now if only the runtime was longer...

Someone please do this for me... I know you can. If you don't have the sound, I'll rip it and send it to you, but I can't do the video because I don't have all the tools and resources I need to do it right.

Here's my proposal:

Use the opening theme from teh xmen 90s cartoon, and edit it with clips from the new movie.

That's all. And of course they have to do the classic adam west batman thing where the heros and villians all run at each other. It seems like ratner's paying homage to that element from the cartoon during the final battle where all the xmen make their last stand.

Well to be fair, Val said he thougt he got hit in the shoulder and he does mention that the fight ends with Wolvie getting stabbed in the stomach with two stakes. The only problem I had was that he says all this happens before Wolvie sees Mags and Jean in the woods and it is obvious that it has to happen after given that there are no holes or blood on Wolvie's shirt when he encounters Mags.

Harpoon is a member of the super powered assassin team known as Marauders, who are employed by Mr Sinister. Little is known about Harpoon other than he is an Inuit Eskimo. Harpoon was one of the Marauders that attacked the X-Man Angel during the Morlock Massacre. Harpoon pinned Angle to the wall, but before he and his Marauder cohorts were able to slay him, the Thunder God Thor intervened and drove them off. Harpoon was also responsible for the attack which left the X-Man Kitty Pryde trapped in a ghost like state. Harpoon hurled a harpoon at the X-Men Rogue while she was vulnerable after having her powers naturalized by the Marauder Scrambler. Kitty, or Shadowcat, grabbed Rogue and phased her hoping Harpoon's weapon would pass harmlessly through, but the spear struck them anyways, perhaps because it was in an energy state, and Shadowcat was adversely affected. Harpoon was thought to have been slain during the Inferno incident, but as often shown, Mr Sinister can clone his Marauders and bring them back at any time.

It is unknown the exact nature of this power, but it is most likely akin to Gambit's ability to charge an object with it's Kinetic energy. This lead to fan speculation that Gambit was related to Harpoon, or the character itself was derived or inspired by Harpoon. It is also possible that Harpoon can actually produce the spears himself, similar to how his fellow Marauder Riptide can produce throwing stars and spikes. While Harpoon wears a pack on his back to hold his spears, the supply would be depleted quickly given the amount of time the Morlock Massacre endured. Since Mr Sinister holds the keys to the Marauder's DNA, he could theoretically share many of their abilities with one another thus giving Harpoon the ability to self produce his weapons like Riptide.
Harpoon was confirmed to be depowered in New Avengers #18.
