Writers-Jimmy Palmiotti,Justin Gray
Artist-Billy Tucci

The site mentions the duo debuting a book out of Civil War in August. We already know the team for Punisher and Ant-Man,so H4H is definitely there book.

I'm really hyped for this now.Tucci was probably one of the better 90s artists.Adding to pull list now!

I really hope Cage is left in New Avengers. I'm sure he will be, but I love how Bendis writes him.

I've never been interested in Heroes for Hire, but I could definitly see some interesting stuff being done with the book's premise with Civil War going on.

I wouldn't really mind if Cage quit the Avengers and joined HFH. It really wouldn't be a true HFH book without him and Iron Fist there anyway.

I have hope for this.

Palmiotti and Gray are writing the current Daughters of the Dragon miniseries which I'm liking so far (though the art is a little wonky in places). And I've read that the new H4H series is going to come directly as a result of this series. I'm waiting to hear who the "Heroes" in Heroes for Hire are before I make any real decision though.

As a big Cage fan, i too would like for him to remain in the New Avengers. I wouldn't be opposed to a full-time or occassional appearance in H4H but if he was limited to just one book I would prefer he stays with Bendis on New Avengers. Bendis writes the best Cage ever.

That is not even funny.

That's just ****ing stupid.

So what the point of this era in comics anyway...?

To take everything a comic book ever stood for and twist it into some unrecognisable mockery of everything that ever came before it?

To what purpose I ask?

To draw friggin attention to something controversial as to crack the internet in half?

Getting really ****ing old.

You can only crack something in half once.

After that the novelty is over.

Marc...

I hope you are WRONG my friend.

Because if you ARE right...

Marvel is in worse f***ing shape than any of us could ever imagine.

This would herald the beginning of the end IMHO.

Then again... waitaminute...

Hawkeye could be in the FF2 movie and confuse the s*** out of the movie audience even more!!!

But see, that's a pair that I wouldn't mind seeing as members of the FF. It's not like we're talking about Speedball and Night Thrasher, here. These are 2 prominent Marvel heroes, one of which has been a member. Hell, the Thing was even a member of the West Coast Avengers.

There were circumstances that led to those events that made perfect sense for the character.

She-Hulk fits into the family outfit a little better than Hawkeye does, in my opinion. What did Hawkeye bring to the Avengers? He was the hothead who got under the leader's skin. That role's been filled by the inimitable matchstick Johnny Storm for half a century on the FF. Although it might be fun to see Hawkeye be a horrible influence on Johnny, taking him to strip clubs and stuff. :)

If it were a revival of the post-Onslaught team, I'd be excited. If it's just Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Misty Knight, and those characters, I'll pass. I've never been very interested in any of them except maybe the Iron Fist/Luke Cage comradery, but that's not enough for me to buy an ongoing series.

It's called...

...being true to your origins.

...honoring the original intent of the comic.

FF above all else is about FAMILY right?

To change the core foundation of something as fundamental as THAT is just plain wrong.

Next let's take Spider-Man and turn him into a rock idol who went on a drug and sex binge and had a near-death O.D. experience but now let's tell all about his life in rehab.

That's a lame roster. And isn't Humbug DEAD? Didn't Deadpool kill him at some point, or am I just missing something?

If it's a new Humbug, then...no one has a right to laugh at "Turtle II" from the Flash's rogues gallery again. As in, a guy who has to rip off a lame idea is even lamer than the originator. Because Marvel does it too. ;)

Sometimes, I think Marvel, frankly, tries to be too clever for its own damn good. They're so busy trying to surprise, shock, and at times inflame their audience that they sometimes forget that living up to at least some expectations can be equally satisfying and rewarding. Of course, sales support their current logic, and as Charlie Brown once said, "That's my problem, I never know how to argue with success."

The "New _____" thing has certainly worn out it's novelty, don'tcha think?

They need a different adjective to use to describe a relaunched title that is a pale shadow of it's former glory.

This thing...it has all the wrong things going for it before it even comes out. Everyone knows it's going to suck. Just for that, we're all wrong. It'll be great. There's no way- NO WAY- Marvel isn't laughing its @$$ off right now because no one realizes what I just did. Of all the sucky things Marvel has cranked out, they would never even attempt something like this without an AMAZING catch. Even their marketing for the book- like in the discussions- is a parody of their own advertising of horrble books. If they know it'll suck before it comes out and we know as well and they still greenlighted it, there's more than meets the eye at work. This book- this book'll be a winner.

Doesnt really tell us anything about the premise though does it? And they didnt cover the reasons for including half the team - though I spose itd ruin it if we're told their reasons for joining before seeing them get thrown into it. Like if some joining is by accident, some by governmental pressure or assignment...

It seemed like they hinted stuff with Luke and Danny was happening but I wasnt really satisfied as to why they arent part of H4H.
