Y'know, between coming here, reading about the X-Men, and writing about the X-Men, I knew my life had been a little mutant-heavy lately. I even started dreaming comic books and didn't think much of it...

Today I saw a perfectly normal guy on the street wearing shades and, for a second, fully expected him to take them off and unleash his optic beams.

I may have a problem. Dude really did kinda look like Cyclops, though.

So when do you know it's time for a comic break?

I can't say this has happened to me with X-men but it has happened with videogames, I remember trying to turn the light on and failing and getting annoyed because it was a "bug".

one of my first "overdosing on xmen" moments happened a few years back.

i was walking through Super K. There were those stickers on the floor that are footprints, that lead you to a sale or whatever. ( i hope i explained that clearly enough)

up ahead on the trail to the sale, there was a palette/display of something else, with the footprints continuing on the other side. my next thought was something along the lines of "well, kitty could just walk through it instead of having to walk around it" or "if i was kitty, i could just walk through it".

i know its not particularly funny, but that is the first overdosing on xmen moment i remember.
