View Full Version : Whats going to happen to all the 'Freaks of the Week' in the future?
There have been hundreds and the psycho kid from 'Hidden' indicated that there were likely even more after the second meteor shower. What's going to happen to all of them in the future? The majority seem to be teenagers and alot of them know about Clark's abilities. Are they going to turn into Super-villains? Hopefully not.. Will the good mutants team up against the evil mutants?...Hopefully it wont venture into that familiar territory either.
So what should happen to them
I'm thinking Brainiac or Zodd should try to recruit them all for the finale and then kill them all after theyve done his bidding.
Brainiac could also drain them all of their powers.
I kinda want it dealt with one way or the other.
It's Zod, no extra D and I always think it's stupid how so many FOTW know who Clark is and his powers
Ya typo there. For some reason I was thinking of Lord ZeDD from the old Power Rangers show when I wrote that.

At least that fact was mentioned in Mortal. It was because they know of Clark that the villains knew something of Clarks abilities.

Level 33.1 would have been so cool...
oh, I think the FOTW's will die, and have a shorter lifespan due to kryptonite poisoning...

Pretty obvious its a different Superman world that SV exists in so it's plausible they could all be lower level rouges

we I hope so, too many know who Clark really is

Or if Lex finds out about Clark through Braniac, Zod they can always make that Secret Room Lex has a room full of every Freak Of The Week that lived & Zod sends them after Clark again :o
or maybe Zod kill all the FOTW, that would be cool :D

They don't know who he is, they think he's a meteor freak just like the rest. It doesn't really matter anyway, they're crazy and they go psycho, who's going to believe anything they say?

Just Imagine
1000's of Randy Taylor's with 1000's of Braniacs
VS
Clark Kent
:o
They don't know who he is, they think he's a meteor freak just like the rest. It doesn't really matter anyway, they're crazy and they go psycho, who's going to believe anything they say?
But some know his full name and where he lives, so he puts his family and frinds in trouble because he too bloody trusting
Considering the majority of them have the same story about Clark Kent, despite their insanity... it would still raise some questions to the ppl examining them about Kent's involvement in all this.

Which is probably why Lex has all of them in a Super Secret Special Room. To learn about Clark

Well I actually believe that in this Univerese where Smallville exists, the orgin of Superman is totally different so who knows what those people will do. The more I watch the show the more I think this is a different, different Superman. Hell, he may not even be Superman. Not that I have a problem with that.

Different is good.

Holla!
'Catwoman' the movie was "different" too. "Different" is subjective.

It can be different in a good way or in a bad way. Smallville is one of the few examples of how you can "bastardise" an adaptation but still have a great final product
Hell, he may not even be Superman. Not that I have a problem with that.
I have a problem with Lois, Lex, Chloe, Lana, a bunch of freaks etc all knowing his powers and identity.
He definately wont ever become the Superman we're used to. Then again, I doubt we'll ever get the see the details of his future adventures as Superman.... though Im sure it will inspire some really bad fanfiction
-_-

Mmm thats debatable. Most of the liberties taken havent exactly been played out in a good way.

What I think should happen is that all of the freaks should all slowly but surely succumb to the "Jitters" as a result of their prologued history w/ Kryptonite...
Kinda like an "Infinate Crisis" sort of thing where all of the FOTW are wiped out from future continuity...and Lex (once evil) has almost every single fragment of kryptonite in SV dug up and stored away in his own personal vault. He can use a "fake" LexCorp environmental/hazard, etc. excuse in the eyes of the public as to why he's digging them up--whereas Clark will now be concerned that Lex has kryptonite stored away somewhere...
Hence, no more kryponite to be found (w/ the exception of Lex's personal collection) on Earth...give or take a few spots, and no FOTW to bother Superman down the line...

I'm thinking Lex has been training them or experimenting with them in Level 33.1 though they "claimed" to have dropped that storyline.
Aunt Nell, Henry Small and Pete are in Level 33.1 too.

Different is another way of saying "we wrote ourselfs into a corner". Not that i have a major problem with it. He will be Superman. The shot of the cape pretty much confirmed that. The show is promoted as such.
The biggest problem with this is that instead of working this around the idea of a young Clark they have turned it into Superboy. A bad version of Superboy. You raise expectations and give yourself a far more difficult time with the concept of keeping the story true to it's original concept.

Nah, they write the show how they want, they dont care about rules and pleasing fanboys. And although even I have issues with some of the writing its still a great show.**** raising expectations for a teen show.
