Daredevil and Hulk I can agree on. But Punisher is just a mob killer. At least Deadpool gets from time to time entangled in World threatening events and travels through space. And he's all around the place and would probably even dare to give Doom a wedgie, not that he'd be able to. He deserves that spot as much as anyone else. Especially since he has a huge enough fanbase.

the problem with this game will be the same problem XML2 had, it didm't add much to the first game and was pretty much identical with a few added characters, i feel this will share the same fate, and be a XML clone with added characters

The guy didn't visually see Daredevil. He had to play as certain characters, and when he got to fight Bullseye, Bullseye mentioned Elektra and Daredevil. I have also heard from 2 other sources that he is playable. Don't worry, he'll be in. The only reason he doesn't have a thread is because some people may not believe it. Or by some very unlikely chance, he isn't.

Same goes for Black Panther.

Hey all, been lurking for a while and finally get to put in my two cents.

I find the inclusion of Spiderwoman and Luke Cage a bit odd, but I think that with the way they're adding characters, they've got too many of the Marvel Knights in there not to have DD in the mix.

The team I want to play as most: The "New" Fantastic Four from back in the early 90's. Grey Hulk :hulk: , Spidey :spidey: , Ghost Rider :ghost: and Wolverine :wolverine . That was a pretty cool team so Hulk better be playable!

Last but not least, anyone got an extra sign up for the VIP? I'd love to get in there and look around. I can't get into the link above because my $%#@ company firewall won't let me over there. Please let me know if anyone can help me out.

I almost wish Taskmaster would be a playable character too. He's like every badass character you can imagine in one person. He has the Punisher's aim and shooting skills, possesses the Silver Samurai's swordsman skills, has a shield like Cap, can swing and web opponents like Spidey and has the combined agility of Spider-Man and Daredevil.

You can just make him out above Deadpool in the picture on the left, and the picture to the right has his catchphrase, Sweet Christmas. The headshot next to the catchphrase looks to be an African American person. I'm pretty sure now that he is the person standing behind Iceman in the group shot.

IMO Nick Fury, Black Widow, Black Bolt and Namor would be either boring characters or couldn't work.

Nick Fury - Look, I can shoot things and swear.

Black Widow - I can shoot things AND swing!

Black Bolt - ... - Everytime he just opens his mouth he'd wipe the screen clear. He'd be way too overpowered.

Namor - He can fly and has super strength. Oh, and supposedly he can also use electricity. Which I think he only used once in comic history. But we already have Thor, who guess what, has super strength, can fly and summon Lightning up your ass.

I didn't like wolverine much either, cyclops was beam beam beam, and wolverine at least had spinning slash and stuff. All they did with cyclops was change the colours of his beams and make them divide and stuff, and he was a lot weaker to fight normally with than wolverine, so you had to stay back and use abilities!

Bishop and deadpool were probably the best characters to play with, although juggernaught was the most powerful.

Would anyone be kind enough to send me an invite? Not being able to check that website is killing me! I was checking the main site every day, and when i discovered the vip site i was super happy fun time excited. I cant pre-order because i havent decided whether i'm going to buy the Wii yet or wait a while (if us aussies get screwed over by the exchange rate, making Wii not actually that cheap, I'll chuck a hulk!).

Also, does anyone know if either Hulk or Punisher are playable characters? I mean confirmed, not just hinted to... Coz it doesnt make sense y they wouldnt have Hulk as the ultimate bruiser character. And punisher... well, he's just cool. They really need to expand on the marvel universe, so we can be characters we havnt experienced before. I would much rather play as a new character than have cyclops again. Oh well, beggars cant be choosers. Up until a few years ago, all us comic book video game fans had to go on was games like Wolverines Revenge and X-Men next dimension.
