Not really, because there is a phrase called ''last man standing''...true, the avalanche probably finished hulk off, but if he was so tough, he would have been up and ready to finish the fight, like wolverine...so wolvie won by tko.

They could have kept fighting. Wolverine could have anyway, but hulk was stopped. I am betting the fight took enough out of hulk to just make him weak enough for the avalanche to finish him, so I personally consider that a wolverine win.

The Volsung saga is pretty awesome. But be prepared, since mythical Thor is more of a womanizing, barbarous, alchoholic rather than heroic in any fashion. Low brain power and high physical power, a drive to fight and commit adultery like few others.

I just read a comic that came with a marvel legends figure, pyro. it was dd vs pyro to find the killer of some chick, who hyde (a brutal and evil bastard) was in jail for. upon discovering hyde is innocent (of this crime anyway), despite the fact that hyde has made it clear he WILL kill and brutalise again, Matt Murdock agrees to take his case and vows to help Hyde walk free.


Its that retarded bull**** that makes me HATE him. so hes innocent of this crime, he has killed plent of others and said he will do again.

He has done it before too, in Garth's ennis Punisher with one of the most vicious gangsters of the nucci family he tried telling punisher he shouldnt kill him and the gangster should go down only on crimes he commited, and should walk free on this one because he was wrongly accused, and he did it again when bushwacker was killing mutant progedies. he stopped wolvering from wacking him, hten bushwaker got away and killed a mutant little girl.

I should add that the methodology I used to come up with the "potentials" was basically which heroes would not only be feasible, but also somewhat unique. It was in no way based on any rumors I have read anywhere.

Thus, there was no reason to include people like Colossus, because he would essentially play the same way as The Thing.

Looking back, I feel like the Human Torch might be too much of a cross between Ghost Rider and Ironman to actually make his way in there. And Punisher is kind of hard to pull off. He might be good as an NPC in a FMV cut scene.

Well, Venom is similar to Spider-Man but they were both playable in games like Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage. And even back then, they still played different enough. Not to mention, a playable Venom could add the layer of depth that Raven seems to be trying to achieve when they say that choosing certain combinations of characters as a team would affect gameplay. Also Venom and Spider-Man have fundamentally different vulnerabilities. Venom is susceptible to sonic and heat attacks, while Spider-Man can be beaten by enemies of extreme strength. These relatively nuanced differences could play an important role in the game.

As for the potentials, like I said, it was purely idle speculation on my part. The reason I didn't include people like the Hulk is that he would seem to be overpowered. He will obviously be an NPC at the very least, though.

No, it's not good to just change the visuals. Eventually, it gets old. You won't have to be incredibly resilient to play the game, a lot of people who played it at E3 said the controls were good. A little waving of the arm won't kill you.

Madden 07 will use it for different moves, ExciteTruck uses it as a steering wheel, Mario Galaxy uses it for a whole bunch of stuff, LoZ uses it for the sword, bow, boomerang, and w/e else in Link's inventory, Red Steel will use it for sword and gun gameplay, and MP3 will use it for gunplay as well. I don't know how games are made, but obviously developers have found ways to use it for more than swordplay.

Legend of Zelda is one of the greatest series ever and Ocarina of Time is one of the greatest games ever, so obviously there are a LOT of people who like playing it. Samus is a badass bounty hunter, she's the equivalent of MAster Chief before there was a Master Chief. Mario isn't outdated b/c his games are classics, even the newer ones are enjoyable by a large audience.

I'm almost 20 and I thoroughly enjoy both the Zelda and Metroid franchises. I should clarify that I'm an Ivy League student and D-1 varsity athlete with a tremendous amount of self-respect.

Five things Nintendo has going for them? Aside from the DS killing every competitor under the sun, the Wii is fast emerging as the potential winner of this generation's console race. Games such as SSBB, Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, and Red Steel are making huge waves in gaming circles.

And I would love to see exactly how you believe franchises such as Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, Metroid, and SSB are similar. Aside from the fact that there are usually pretty clearly defined protagonists and antagonists, and the stories generally follow some sort of narrative arc, theres not a whole lot of similarity. I SUPPOSE many of the characters featured could be described as bipel and anthropomorphic...

Actually DD powers are slightly retooled Spider-man so doing them in a game wouldn't be overly hard. Now what is hard doing in games is super speed characters like Flash or Quicksilver.

However Punisher kills (and in fact that's his whole thing) Batman doesn't. Punisher feels that justice has completely failed everyone. Batman feels it needs direction (his naturally) to function porperly. These traits that Punisher lacks you find in Daredevil.

Nah, Spidey is just some nerd who got superpowers. DD trained to get his skill. DD also works at night and strikes fear into criminals with both his name and presence. He also has a crimelord enemy, a bird-named enemy, and Elektra is essentially Catwoman and Lady Shiva.

Punisher only has a similar reason for his vigilance and only a few in how they work. He is Batman to the extreme. He isn't Marvel's Batman simply b/c he has no remorse from killing and uses guns and other violent means.
