i didn't see anyone post anything bout this, and if so then sorry i'm new. new issue of game informer shows screens of this. looks like their going by the ultimate universe from the character models they show. i have no way of putting pics up of it, but i'm sure someone does. looks great though.

Are you sure this isn't simply Marvel Legends under a new name? After all, XML uses the ultimate costumes for the majority of the characters, but it obviously doesn't take part in that universe.

Hopefully Spidey won't be restricted to running, but if he is maybe they will give him a cool running animation. I'm also wondering how his Spider sense(sp?) will function. It would be awesome if he just automatically jumped out of the way if he was low on health and about to be attacked.

its in the GI that has the Red Steel cover. it's on page 64. and to answer some of the questions since no one can seem to find the article.
cap's shield can be thrown and at higher levels you can hold down a button after the throw for a limited degree of steering control. for spidey, yeh he can swing freely through the levels, and his spider sense works by slowing the game down allowing him to move at a normal speed. you can make your own teams and along with character advancement you will also have team advancement and the more you build for your team the more members you can add to ultimately build a powerhouse team. and if you start out with an already established team you will start with more team experience. and also there was no mention of being able to play as villians. their are costume changes but they were only showing the classic costumes. sorry i can't scan anything to prove it.

Looks like a pretty cool game with a diverse cast. If this is anything live X-Men Legends it should be a great game. Hopefully its a little harder than XML2 though. I hope that each character has a Marvel Zombies costume and there aren't anymore console exclusive characters. Cable should have been in all the versions of the game.

Every console but GC, but they're arent sure whether they're porting it to Revo too. Props to Raven for including Thor, Dr. Strange and Ghost Rider. Too often the magical characters are forgotten for the mainstream marvel characters in games. I think we can assume Iron Man, a few X-men (like Storm and Cyclops), and a member or two of the F4 made the cut. DD is a strong possibility considering Elektra's inclusion. Out of Avengers, I want to say Hulk, but I'm not sure if theres a rights issue, but I'm fairly sure She-Hulk will be an unlockable. Black Panter is always possible, maybe even the Vision on the Avenger's side of this.

Daredevil is not a hypocrite.
He does what he can as a lawyer, but the Law is not perfect.
There are criminals who can't (or won't) be touched by it, Daredevil goes and gets them, after all, he knows what they did.
There are countless murders, thefts and acts of violence that would go unpunished (cops or witnesses are not everywhere), if it weren't for him.
He's simply helping law and justice, both of which he loves so much, walk the full distance, instead of sometimes just stoping halfway because of lack of evidence, witnesses, etc.

Hmm. White Nick Fury. Kinda iffy about that since he was shown to be black in X-men Legends 2 and between Wolverine's design and everything else, can't really say there's no connection between the series...Eh. Whatever. No different from changing actors in a movie.

This game sounds great though. Can't wait to play Cap and from the looks of it, we get a Namor fight. :D I hope he becomes playable after and if not, there should at least be a danger room-like practice mode where I can play him. Hope it's all released at the same time. This would be my first 360 title. Really looking forward to this. =D

I don't think Fury is playable. He'll probably be part of a cutscene. And Silver Surfer doesn't count because he'll be only playable during some sort of special Mission. But he could be an unlockable... Okay let's keep Surfer in the list.

This game definetely has me excited. 140 characters pop up in this game, so we'll most definetely see the likes of the fantastic four, daredevil, X-Men, etc. The only problem i have is that they decided to go with the ultimate verse designs again, while using the 616 verse. Between this and the JLA game, i'm excited to get the chance to play my favorite characters from both comic companies

The awesome thing about waiting for X-men Legends 2 to come out was on their main site, they'd have 16 character slot, and every so once and awhile a new one would be revealed. The anticipation was awesome. I'd check the site every single day. :O:up:

Now I'm sure the gameplay (which is the moost important factor) will rule, but the graphics are dissappointing.

Not much better than the abysmal XML ones. I mean come on, there was barely any difference between the PS2 and the PSP, they hardly psuh the boat out.

What makes matters worse is on next gen with all that extra power to use, all they could do was create BETTER SHADOWS? Christ....


BTW, the awesome FMV models don't count, and yes, they should be used in a feature length animation, especially instead of 2D stuff. Models like this COULD provide the edge to push Marvel past the previously sublime DC/Timm's efforts.

I'm guessing purple'n glider. They tend to mix up both universes and favor what they need the most. Like how thie Nick Fury is all of a sudden regular Marvel Nick Fury (XML2 he was black).
