Spider-Girl

Oh why didn't you say so?
I don't remember which game that was, it may be Spidey 1.

Chris Wallace

I always liked "Quick, Spider-Lad! You rescue the pilot while I go after the bad guys...wait a minute; I don't have a sidekick."
Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro

Spider-Girl

Classic!

I also liked "This hurts already" from Ultimate.

Human Spidey

I just like the way he talks on Ultimate Spiderman.
One good quote is when MJ tells you to go and tackle Rhino, Spidey goes;

"Is that a Rhinoceros Horn or are you just happy to see,... i'm so scared i can't even finish my lame joke"

Chris Wallace

:spidey: :You're lucky I'm a good sport; no intelligent person would ever agree to these tests.
QB: Did you hear that, ladies and gentlemen? Spider-Man just admitted he was stupid!
:spidey: You're a sad little man, Beck.
QB: I know you are, but what am I?
:spidey: : I can't believe you just said that.

Spider-Man 2: The movie

In the Green Goblin leval of USM when they fight in the latvarien Ebbasy Spidey says: I have officially run out of ways to say 'ow' "

Chris Wallace

Yeah, that was a good one, too. Along with "This oughtta knock the crazy out of you" & "Only you can prevent Spider-Man fires."

That one is my favorite line of the game.

Yeah, that was a good one, too. Along with "This oughtta knock the crazy out of you" & "Only you can prevent Spider-Man fires." Spideys gets mad at one point and says, "I am going to smack the green right off of you."

I have alot. I can't think of everyone of them, but....

Ultimate Spider-Man

Spider-Man: [To Green Goblin.] How does it feel to get your butt kicked by a fifteen year old kid?!

Spider-Man: [To Rhino.] Hey you, is that a horn on your head or are you just glad to see....I'm so scared I can't even finish my lame joke.

Spider-Man: [Falls in water.] Awww man I suck!

Spider-Man: [To Green Goblin.] I'm going to smack the green right off you....

Spider-Man: [To Green Goblin.] The fist bone's connected to the, face bone!

Spider-Man: [To Beetle.] Did that instruction book for your suit say anything about aiming straight?

Spider-Man: [To Green Goblin.] Aww little fella's all tuckered out.

Spider-Man: [To Green Goblin.] What did the five fingers say to the face? SLAP!

Spider-Man: The Movie

Spider-Man: [To Shocker.] So...You must be Quilt Man? Patted Pete? Oh wait, I've got it! THE CUSHION!

Spider-Man: [To Shocker.] Hey Shock say, "I'll squash you like a bug!" It always cracks me up when people say that!
[I]
Spider-Man 2

Spider-Man: Mysterio? I think I had a bowl of Mysterios for breakfast.

Spider-Man: [To Shocker after defeating him the second time.] She's pretty amazing don't you think Shock?
Shocker: I think my career has it a new low.
Spider-Man: Ah, who cares what you think.

And alot more!

I think my all-time favorite has got to be:
Green Goblin: There's no reason for us to fight! We're the same, you and me-we're like brothers!
Spider-Man: Oh, yeah? Well, I'm telling Mom!

I'm not. We're cool.
What about...
"I gotta say, you look just like me. Except, you're more 'angry back alley' than 'friendly neighborhood'."

"Give it to me straight; do I look aft in these tights?"
"This looks like a job for...some kind of swimming superhero. But since none are around I guess I'll have to do it"

Another one from the Quentin Back challenge:
Spidey: You missed your calling as a playground designer, Beck.
QB: And you missed yours as a rejected has-been! But that will be rectified soon enough!
SPidey: Psychologists call that 'projecting', Beck.

LOL!

There were alot of good ones.

Chris Wallace

There was this one:
To Mysterio: "Right now you're thinking, if only you'd taken that giant act to Vegas instead!"

Chris Wallace
06-02-2006, 10:04 AM
We totally forgot about X-Men: Mutant Academy 2! That had such gems as:
"You guys don't fight well solo, do you?"
"Hello, newsflash! You gotta hit me to beat me!"
"Perhaps you should find your happy place and stay there!"
And "Weren't counting on my mutant butt-kicking power, were you?"

webhead731
06-02-2006, 12:58 PM
Spider-Man was in that?^

Chris Wallace
06-02-2006, 01:03 PM
He was sort of a hidden character. You had to win every fight straight & then when Cyclops came up, you had to beat him w/o losing. Then you had to fight Spidey. If you beat him w/o losing he became an available character for play.

Spider-Man: I don't suppose I could convince you to come up here and fight like a spider.

LOL! That's one of my favorite lines from the Animated Series.^

Where is your sig from? lol.

I liked in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics when Spidey was making fat jokes on Kingpin.

Here's one;
When he first meets Shocker in "Spider-Man 1"
"Let me guess; Quilt-Man. No, Padded Pete. Wait-I got it; the Cushion."

Webz14
06-15-2006, 04:27 PM
Ultimate Spider-Man (not really wisecracks so much as funny lines):

"Aw man, I suck"

"Now I suck and I soak"

"Glub! (Did I just say, glub?!)"

"I will wash, but I will never be clean again"

"Ugh! This water isn't water! It's soup! It's slime soup!"

(I also think he sounds sooo funny in that game!)

Chris Wallace
06-15-2006, 04:33 PM
All responses to the same situation.
You missed, "I've got water in places I didn't even know I had yet."

The ones for "Spider-Man 2" weren't as funny:
"Great-nothing better than a soaking wet costume."
"Nothing like a little New York water to clear up the sinuses."
"I have to be more careful; swimming definitely doesn't suit me."
"I can't believe I got washed all the way over here."

He was too serious in Spider-Man 2. He had some very funny lines but he wasn't sarcastic enough. Ultimate Spider-Man was though.

That's what they need to fix for the Spider-Man 3 game.

He's just not funny in the movies. period. Now in the animated series from the 90's.....that was humor.

They need to fix that.

He had some funny lines though. Most of them were in Spider-Man 2 the movie.

I have always thought they were afraid to have too many jokes in the movies, due to the overkill in the TMNT sequels & the ridiculous one-liners in "Batman & Robin"; in other words, too much joking & your movie isn't taken seriously.

webhead731
06-16-2006, 06:37 PM
But being sarcastic would be funny.

Read Ultimate Spider-Man comics, he has a few lol.:)
