View Full Version : how will symbiot spidey shoot webs?

personally i always hate when artists show symbiot spidey shooting webs the regular way, with two fingers pressing his palm, cuz they always also draw him with the white marks on his wrists or w/e but there useless then. now from what weve seen there will be no white marks on the top of his hands, but i still hope he shoots the webs from their, just as something different then the usual, and showing how the suit has made changes.

For the movie it could be the same as spidey.

Good idea, he should shoot the web from front of his hand like it was originally done when he put on the symbiote suit. But if they're dumb enough to make The Goblin suit a piece of naked green armor and just change the color of the Spider-Man suit to black and call it a symbiote suit then I wouldn't put it past them to have him just shoot the web out of his wrist.

How about this, he shoots it out his tuckus. How's that for accuracy. All you guys are complaining about accuracy and tasteless changes all the time.
Spiders don't shoot webbing out of their wrists or their hands. WHAT ABOUT BEING TRUE TO SPIDERS?!

If you think about it from the movie point of view if he naturally has webbing coming out of his wrist why would he shoot it out of the top of his hand. His body would have to be rewired for that to work. Anyone who didn't read the comic wouldn't understand it. So they will probably keep it in the wrist.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll just keep it the same way it's always been. Even though the webs from the top of the hand looks cool in drawings, it really wouldn't work too well in real life. He'd have to swivel his hand around in a very awkward way everytime he shot a web in order to grab it and swing on it. I know that may sound unimportant, but they do have to animate Spidey as if he were a real person, and that would look pretty strange.

Spiders don't shoot webbing out of their wrists! They don't even have wrists! HOW TASTELESS OF THEM!

Yeah I know. I guess that's why the original spidey couldn't do that. *shrugs*

Symbiote Spidey should shoot webs like he always does. But, maybe their stronger or something. I don't know.

Personally, I think that he should wear the black suit from the comics, and who the hell knows why he isn't? But seeing how they have to be stupid and change it from what it really does look like, if he shoots webs the regular way, he should atleast have an endless supply of stronger webbing.

This just in! In a recent interview with Harold Kinnings, the symbiote will actually shoot the webs from it's mouth!
"MG: So from what we understand the long time fan favorite villain, Venom, will appear in the 3rd installment of the Spider-Man franchise.
HK: I have jelly rolls, hoagies, grinders, bagels, hot soup, what cha need?
MG: Ha ha ha, very nice, I know that Raimi has sworn you all to secrecy about the project, but what's up with the Lunch Truck behind you?
HK: That's my Lunch Truck. I drives it to all the lots wheres they're shootin this movie and I sells the actors and crew lunches. Whaddaya want? Chips, maybe a nice submarine sandwich?
MG: Submariner!?
HK: That ain't what I said.....
MG: Wait till the guys back on the SHH boards hear this!
HK: Look pal if you don't.....
MG: Where does Spidey shoot his webbing from when he's in the
symbiote suit? From the backs of his hands like in the comics?
HK: Lemme show you punk, the same place your teeth are gonna shoot
from!
*PUNCHES INTERVIEWER"
MG: ........ Vhere ewe hab iff, Fubmairiner ish in Shpider-Mam Free, am de Schymbiote shutes websss ouff of hish mouf."

But these black threads weren't his spider-threads... the costume did this when some guys tried to capture spiderman by means of a sound wave thingy... the costume shot a black thread onto a building, pulled spidey away from the guys and the sound waves and saved him.

I'm gonna wager that a lot of the times when Spider-man is wearing a black suit and shooting webs through his normal way (two fingers on the palm) it's because he's not in the symbiot. Instead, he's wearing the black cloth suit that Black Cat made for him, that looks the same as the alien suit.

well the idea of the symbiote in the origional comics is it was an alien that bonded with a host and enhanced thir natural abbilities. it also could create things and read peter's mind so it was able to create webs for. if i remeber correctly it did it at first out of necessity.
any who given that the idea would be that the symbiote would enhance his natural webs and make them stronger. how eer brock was never bitten by a spider. so he doesn't shoot webs so would that mean venom wouldn't?
Any one give thought to the posibility that thier is no symbiote? That Brock get's bit by one of the same spiders as peter? And he just uses his powers for evil and wears a black costume?
MAybe peter changes to a black costumer for some reason and then when brock realizes he has the same powers he decides to wear one to, to frame spider-man for his crimes so then peter has to change back to the classic costume?

Spider-Man doesn't need to shoot webs from anywhere. Until we see confirmation of the suit looking like the real black costume, I don't care if he does it the normal way or not. Because it really wouldn't matter if both of the costumes look exactly the same except for the color swap. It's like a Megaman game. Instead of all new armor, when he defeated an enemy, he got a new color template.
Spidey gets the symbiote...new costume? Nahhh. Just give 'em a gray scale template. whoo hoo.
I hate you, whoever designed that.

I seriously doubt that they'll have black spidey shoot web out of the top of his fist instead of where it came out before (wrist). I mean theyre going for a logical/semi realistic approach (even though we're still gonna have venom. blah), so its unlikely they'll have him shoot web out from the top, it wont make much sense.

Okay? And? If you're thinking that I've gone back on that or am doing the same thing that I said not to do now, you're an idiot. I'm saying that we have to wait until more info comes out to start talking about whwere his web comes from. So pretty much I'm saying the exact same thing.

No, people just like to assume others are wrong. Even if they aren't. AS if people go on missions to be hypocrites. **Oh yeah, I totally have no idea what I've said in other forums...It's not like I could go back and read my previous comments. OR...you know....Actually be saying what I mean, and meaning what I say, having ideas and thought behind all of my comments. (Even silly ones, like bothering to explain this)**
See, I can't even count the number of people who would not realize that the part between the astericks was me being sarcastic. So I have to actually explain that or else some idiot will quote me as if I was serious.

Answer me just one question. How in your mind, does stating a fact equal to whinning and *****ing? I said not to mention where the webbing comes from until they show us more about the costume, as we have no idea what this black costume is in the movie. So talking about spidey's web attacks from it is premature.
This is a fact.
In other words, I'm STILL saying not to whine and *****. So tell me how I'm doing the same thing. Honestly, tell me.
The truth is that you either misunderstood me, or you're full of it and have nothing at all. You just want to sound cool by trying to make me sound like a hypocrite, when I'm not. Way to go.

Oh and another thing..the thread you are referring to, if I'm not mistaken, was a thread where people were saying SM3 will be disappointing and how the other two movies where so bad and disappointing.
I said that if they don't like it, then they shouldn't watch them. And instead of whinning and *****ing, they should simply not see SM3. I actually WANT to see the movie and liked the last two movies.
So telling someone not to complain about a movie, turn around and watch it with a preset low-opinion, then complain again...is just like telling the same people not to be so quick to discuss his webbing? Oh yeah. You got me. There's a genius in our midst.
