That pretty much sums it up. Way too much of the Lana shiznit, not enough Chloe and/or Lois, not enough uber baddies (like Braniac), and I could go on.

The skimpy outfits on women I'm all for it, but think of it as SV now, without any real respect for the material and focused on the relationships instead of his development into a hero and you'll get a general idea of some of the fear.

Well I like Smallville for Smallville most of the time I couldnt give two ****s if it respects the material as long as it molds itself into a watchable show nevertheless.

That's where I have my problem with the show, yet, I find myself still watching...oh wait, that's due to Erica :) lol

The only way I can watch SV is due to her and if I treat the show as Elseworlds. I just can't see their CK becoming Superman after all he's done.

The odds will be better the closer we get. We're basically getting the equivalent of the group shot for SV back in the summer prior to S1.

I hated that guy from SV. He only had one facial expression and it was a sort of a "trying to hard" grin.
