It's the fact there was no lead up at all during the previous comics to that point of them being lesbian lovers.

I do adore the part where Grace says she likes to take care of her girl. She didn't get to worked up about Thunder getting beat up by a gigantic ape in the previous issue. Way to show your lover how much you care. :up: :down

Grace has always been playing both teams, in my opinion, and as for Thunder that scene could go either way, it's to vague to tell.

In any case there is a difference between being a booty call and a claimed girl. In all the OYL stuff up to the lesbian love I hadn't seen either Thunder or Grace act like they were lovers. BUT, that said it can be argued they were lovers all along. :o And for a comic that seems to thrive with sexual innuendoes I didn't see Thunder being hinted as a 'lesbian' numerous times either.

I would have welcomed some change in the way they treated each other outside of the bedroom though, maybe some 'spice' to dialogue? :cwink:

Well,if you watch the Show you will realize there is a special attraction between Kim and her Arch nemesis...Shego.
More from Shego actually...you would really think she is only working for Drakken a really pathetic immature villain only to reach Kim but still to stay evil...
And even she goes really violent,she tries not to kill the Redhead....or to harm her badly.

General- Shego has never once come after Kim outside of being “on the job” doing an evil mission. Now seriously, has Shego ever seemed to be the kind of person who wouldn’t take it personally if you beat her & threw her in jail? At least a little? And yet…

Shego’s powers seem to be activated at will, yet she’s had a secure hold of Kim dozens of times yet never torched her while she did.

Shego has been canonically proven to be smarter than Kim, possessed of the common sense to see the inherent flaws in plans made following the rules of “the villain’s handbook”, as well as being highly professional and competent—even so far as to be said that outside of Kim and Wade she’s the only other completely competent regular character on the show. And yet given all of that, she still:

- Has never flash-fried Rufus during a capture, despite the rat being the single most regular outside cause of K&R’s escapes/wins.

- Has regularly left K&R with all their gear, or “hidden” gear she should have searched for & removed, or gear within rat-reach, if nothing else.

- Waits for Drakken to do his thing with them instead of just stepping on her neck while she’s unconscious. Even though Drakken’s “thing” has never once come close to working before.

After the third eppie Shego appears in (Bueno Nacho), she no longer makes direct personal insults against Kim, though still throws out plenty of “teaser” insults.

Ron the Man- Instead of leaving like Drakken & Dementor do when the pan-dimensional vortex inducer is activated Shego heads to the shaft to try & get it & shut it down before she finds out the effect will be as big as the state she’s in. And instead of (literally?) tearing Ron out of the shaft, she lets Kim talk him through his little problem.

Naked Genius- Slices through the metal railing Kim grabs the detached piece of to defend herself with, never cuts through it while Kim is using it to parry.

Two to Tutor- after watching Kim tread batter for 15 seconds before charging the blades, Shego pulls the lever to remove them from the vat a mere 2 seconds after Kim goes under, instead of say, y’know, just walking away & leaving them on?

Car Trouble- Shego targets the AI car with her shoulder fired beam cannon instead of, oh, say, Kim? Who just happens to be distracted fighting a robot army and all…

Job Unfair- drop filing cabinet on Kim. Check. Kim’s trapped under it. Check. Jump on top of cabinet (most likely holding her down more). Check. Spend 2 seconds blowing her to bits while she can’t move? Nope, sorry, I’m in “too much of a hurry for that”, even though I have time to tell her I can’t stay & chat.

Rufus vs Commodore Puddles- Shego pauses her attack to let Ron get his camera ready when he asks her to.

A Sitch in Time- one of the biggest proofs ever; Shego spends the entire first two acts poking holes in the Trio’s plans, saying things like “Just crush her & you won’t need to worry about her spirit,” “I’d go lower,” etc… and yet, as soon as she gets her hands on the Tempus Simia she… also gets a frontal lobotomy that reduces her IQ by 60 points? Because there’s no follow through on the threats she spent the entire first two acts establishing she was smart enough to think of! D’oy!

Seriously. “Kim Possible is assaulting my future fortress with all the other rebels, thus, at this exact moment I know exactly where she is in the time-stream.” So… she doesn’t go back & flash-fry a 6-month old Kim in her crib why?

A Very Possible Christmas- Shego only gives Kim a few “what the hell is going on here?” looks when Drakken takes them into the trash pod he & Ron converted into a Christmas shack instead of any real objections. Next scene she & Kim are sitting next to one another in front of the fireplace despite there being countless other places to be sitting, and it seems Kim is more tweaked than she is.

Go Team Go- Shego tells Hego & Mego to shut it. Has a major meltdown in Kim’s kitchen over having to work with her brothers again. Yet never once even gives Kim a dirty look over her making all the plans or telling everyone what to do, let alone objecting to it. Saves Kim from an Avarious blast instead of attacking him while he’s distracted with her.

Ron Millionaire- ok, so Shego can track the mega-laser through twenty feet of rock in under two seconds, yet she can’t get the beam closer to Kim & Ron than three feet, and she cuts through the rock instead of, oh, say, them while their running away with their backs to her? After they’re cornered she spends 8 seconds letting them get ready before she fires, and of course, she knows from way back in Tick-Tick-Tick (which is really the pilot, despite listings as eppie # 4) that Kim can reflect lasers with her compact… and she’s firing what at them again? Oh yeah, a laser!

Emotion Sickness- just a general statement: for someone “locked into an irreversible frenzy of rage” Shego proved to be remarkably tame considering the damage she’s done in eppies where she wasn’t supposed to be freaking out.

Bad Boy- I find it remarkably suspicious that Shego essentially went; “Ok, here’s the only guy I know who can fix that helmet thingy Kimmie, I’ll just take Mr. Wackjob off your hands & babysit him so you don’t have to till he does…” Mind you, I know I am stretching here…

Showdown at the Crooked D- Flash-fry Jim & Tim? Nope, just a low level stun that doesn’t even knock them out!

Dimension Twist- seriously, they act like an old married couple in the second half when it’s just the two of them jumping channels looking for the others.

Shego doesn't just miss the car: she does the following:

1/ Listens to Drakken rant, smiles quietly without her usal sarcasm... more, amused.

2/Takes aim with laser cannon.

3/ Doesn't aim at Kim granted, aims at Sadie.... for THREE SECONDS, and then moves up and to the right, blowing open an acid/molten metal container.

4/Acid lands directly on remaining group of Doombots, melting them, leaves Sadie unharmed, a pool of VERY slowly moving molten stuff coming towards Kim and then hops into her hover pod with Drakken.

5/Blasts a hole into the door, doesn't bother to ice Sadie with guns, missiles or plasma, flies out and lets Kim hop into a high powered vehicle easily able to outrun the molten liquid and is equipped with enough gadgets that she knows SHe could escape with... and because Kim is her nemesis, has a damn good idea Kim will as well.

6/ For the whole cartoon while Kim, ron and Sadie (with a high powered disintegrator cannon) ice the Doombots, she doesn't once get involved. Surely a good time to attack Kim, no?

PPS- To defuse one of the most used weapons of a few of theKIGO haters at RS.net (some, the majority are cool to talk to), I would like to point out the following:

In Kimitation Nation, while Kim is holding onto the blimp, Shego smirks and cuts her jetpack, yes? right... But she's not blind and KNOWS that Ron is with her, will have the same jetpack, and can make the save. When Ron catches Kim, does Shego fire her nifty plasma beam at them until she hits the two teens? No... scuffle, claws into blimp, annoyed sigh... sea.
