If i vote for any of them.... SCARLET WITCH... with the abilty to change your luck of what might happen? NO NO NO NO NO never in a movie ever. I would like to see Maverick, Nick Fury, Sabertooth back, maybe gambit.... maybe. Paige, husk, penace, and the whole story about the legacy virus as a battle rages. Maybe shadow king done in an ULTIMATE rewrite kinda style. More personified and less lizard. Oh... and the white queen herself of course!

I'd like to see them exploring Magneto's history in the future movies. That would mean adding Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. I liked both of them from the X-Men: Evolution show.

They should've added Gambit instead of Quill, Avalanche instead of Arclight and Deathstrike instead of...erm...some Brotherhood member that will have a decent fighting time against Wolverine.

Out of those picks, I'd say definitely Emma.

I don't know how much of a role Arclight, Callisto, and Psylocke will play, or how they'll be portrayed, but the 'dark side' could use a more powerful, cerebral female. Then again, they did get Phoenix . . .

And if you're talking about the reasons why the filmmakers didn't keep him, it was because they couldn't find a role for him that justified the money on the actor, makeup, prosthetics, and special effects.

I would have liked to have seen Gambit (naturally), Emma Frost, Nightcrawler et al. But I think we did good with what we have (Beast is a favorite of mine so I'm glad he finally made it).

I also wanted to see the Hellfire Club (or at least Jason Wyngarde, Sebastian Shaw & Emma Frost) but it's likely that will never come to fruition. Oh well.

I think so too. I have feeling his part is going to be even less than X2 unless the movie is three hours and a half long. I think not addressing nightcrawlers absent is just laziness on the writers part. It can't take up that much time so it wouldn't hurt the pace of the movie.

Gambit could have been tied in especially since Kitty Pride woos away Iceman from Rogue. You see, Gambit should be there to help piece Rogue back together. It's obvious that the kids in the film like the ones i mentioned are conflicted on which side to choose so there should be some characters there for direction. Unfortunately, it'll be logan and storm instead of Gambit.
Truthfully i could care less about the stupid love side stories but Gambit is truly Rogue's guy. I miss Remi.

See the team pick up followers for the cause as they fight the good fight. Even if it could be speculated that he "never had the uniform" or what have you, I think it was made pretty clear at the end of X2 that Nightcrawler had become a part of the team. Being religious, he could have been the one to hold the memorial service for Jean (as, despite the fact that Storm would give the eulogy, there is usually a reverend or something there to "M.C." the whole thing, so to speak)

His acceptance of his mutation, despite it obviously making him an outcast, could have been a very important contrast to the likes of Rogue, who wants to take the cure. I think it's more impactful that way, than from say Storm or Wolverine, who could pass as normal humans in society, because they don't have any obvious mutations.

And it would have been an interesting arc, to see his pacifist beliefs challenged, and he has to decide between taking a stand and fighting for what he believes in, or sitting back and hoping that peace could work itself out.

I mean, sure, it sounds like a lot, but honestly, I think it could have been worked in there, and worked well within everything else we have in the film thus far. The absense of Gambit and Nightcrawler are 2 characters who I'm always going to see this movie and think "they should have been in", and despite the fact that this movie is going to be awesome, amazing, the best yet, it's always going to fall a bit short of what it could have been (in my opinion) because it didn't include a character it should have (Nightcrawler), and the character who would have made my X-Men experience complete (Gambit).
