I'm wondering how they will make Venom's eyes work on screen. Are they going to be flat, or "goopy", or something else. Its not really a big deal, but it's kind of wierd to think about. If I stuck my finger in Venom's eye, would it stick in or is it a "thin layer of symbiote" over Brock's head kinda?

P.S. (Sticking my finger into Venom's eye probably wouldn't be a good idea, but because they are so huge, I think it would be funny if Spidey did it once.)

I have to ask...how is the Green Goblin costume not suited for the movies? What would Spidermans costume look like if you altered it for reality's sake? IMO Spidermans costume is corny in the movies as well but dont we accept it because we know the characters? Does that not also apply to the GG or any other superhero out there? Altering costumes for the sake of "realism" is a pretty dumb practice considering what your going to the movies to see.

There is a chance that Venom isnt even in this movie. Topher Grace is an actor for the movie, but never once was it said that he was venom (It says that he is "Eddie Brock" everywhere). Although Kirsten and Thomas both have said Venom is in it (you know how we can trust kirsten) it still hasnt been confirmed by Sony. Although that is all true, there is a big (IMO) chance that Venom is going to be in this movie. I think Sam might leave it as a cliff hanger with the symbiote just getting to Eddie.

Just my opinion.

anyways, i hope that venom looks believable/realistic. i really hope that this movie is as good as the first two, and doesnt go down hill from here. They could easily screw it over just with the venom situation. but i have faith in Sam

Why do many of you think that Venom will have the webbing? and no white.

I know what we have seen so far..but thats not venom thats Spiderman with the symbiote over top the old Red and Blue suit.


What if when the black goo hits him it mearly becomes a part of the Origional suit..soimething Spiderman can take on and off at first..until it starts to show odd sighns of life then treid to bond with Peter then slffs off

leaving the OG red and blue suit under neath.


Now the Symbiote with life and Peters powers imprinted is free, and it is a black goo again..

Whne it finds eddy and bonds with Eddy it becomes Venom



I just don't think the audience who may or may not be familiar with the secret wars would understand why black goo became a different kind of spidey suit...smooth with no webbing...they would not understand it...why the bigger white spider? Why the bigger white eyse with no borders?

There is a Venom Costume and Topher is wearing it. during a scene a few weeks back He jumped incorectly and broke one of his "Claws" to which topher exclaimed "My Fu@*ing costume is made out of Duct Tape!"
He just did what they asked him Incorrectly. This was reported a while ago by one of the Costume maintenence personel on the set that I happen to know. I posted this little factoid and no one believed me, which is understandable. I dont believe half of the stuff I read here either. lol.

you know, i kinda would like to see venom in a totally different aspect. forget the bulkiness, the teeth, the drool, the tongue.

i would like to see venom, as the same size as tobey, maybe a little bigger. no teeth, or drool, just the same spidey face. sporting the famous black suit, and of course, to be able to be venom, he would have the tenticles and the bubbly symbiote moving all over the place. and when he uses the tenticles, he would do like a jedi-like hand movement to control it around. a man of few words to stay dark and mysterious, and when its time to speak, we hear "we are venom..."

I want to see Venom as some kind of feral beast. Bigger then Spidey. A better shape. His eyes are all jagged but symmetrical, his fangs are long and sharp. The tongue isn't exagerrated. The symbiote appears like sludge on him, oily and the white spidey on his chest should be jaggy.

He can talk and think but when he fights he's like an animal, whose only purpose is slaughtering Spider-Man.

That's a nice one, but I can almost guarantee that it won't have the webbing. The reason Spidey's looks that way is because it adapts to his original suit, and obviously Brock isn't going to be wearing a Spidey suit for it to mold around.

I just hope we get the large mouth full of teeth like in the comics . . . that's one of the most prominent, definitive features of Venom

That's a nice one, but I can almost guarantee that it won't have the webbing. The reason Spidey's looks that way is because it adapts to his original suit, and obviously Brock isn't going to be wearing a Spidey suit for it to mold around.

He will look more or less like the comic version.

I hope it's similar though. I think it will be veins in stead of the webbing

I don't know if this has been thought of before, it probably has though:

I know Venom has not been "officially" confirmed yet by sony. And we have seen that the spidey shot in cleveland was wearing a red suit. So now assuming there will be venom in this movie, there are a few possabilities I can think of:
1. The cleveland shooting will be used for earlier footage in the movie before spidey gets the black out fit.
2. The black outfit is spiderman, just in a different color costume (or symbiote)

Or, this one I think perhaps:

It is the symbiote, but not spiderman. The person in the teaser photo of spiderman in the rain is actually venom himself, played by Topher. Perhaps the symbiote or eddie becomes jealous or spiderman, or wants to become like spiderman, and changes to take on the apperance of the spider. Mabye he uses this to get at spiderman, and to get the people jealous at spidey, or perhaps even get mary jane upset at him. Just my thoughts, please don't poke fun at me if someone already thought of this, I haven't been here long and have not taken the time to read every single post.

Looks Good. But about venom having the web lining... he can change his costume into anything! So if he wanted, he could make the web lines go away
