Which relationships would you like to see in X3?

Ok, I know most of these relationships aren't going to happen except for a few. But what would YOU want to see? I'd love to see Jean(Phoenix) & Logan(Wolverine) together. Just my pick......
oh, and forgive me if I forgot any other couples. These were just at the top of my head at the time.

I think it gives the movie excitment and lust. I know there are tons of Jean/Scott fans, BUT there are ALSO Jean/Logan fans. So I guess neither of the fan groups win huh? Logan always tends to get to kiss or flirt with her, but yet Jean always goes back to Scott. It's a lose/lose situation.

now that i reread the question.. i would like to see a relationship between cyclops and jean. sure its been mentioned in x1 and x2 but we haven't really seen it. ive seen more sparks fly between jean and logan than with jean and scott.

The way I see the relationship between Jean and Logan is this...

To me, they're friends - friends who are attracted to each other, yes but both know they can't be together cause Jean has already devoted herself to Scott. Knowing that Jean has a wild side to her(though we havn't really seen it yet) its Logan who is able to pick up on it and thats what draws them to uh togther- in a way.

Damn ... okay. Explaining my reasons I want to say is hard... k... I think Jean and Logan share a bond but not as strong as the bond she and Scott has or have. The bond Jean and Logan share is a deep friendship kind of bond, meaning they care about and look out for each other but not in the same way between Jean and Scott. ie: Inside the X-Jet. "You okay?" -Jean "I am now" -Logan. That scene there is my fave cause it shows that Jean cares for Logan and she understands what he's going through (having no memories of who he was and of his past) and she tries to help him. I think he respects her and yeah.... I dunno what else to say. blah... my mind is lost in school projects.

Scott and Jean have a stronger bond than what Logan and Jean have. Why? They're soulmates and they're made for each other. Its their love for each other that makes their bond even greater but in the end, I feel bad for Scott, knowing how much Jean's death impacted him. Sometimes it hurts to move on but you just have to give into accepting what truely happened. I really hope they show this further more in X3 and I agree that there wasn't a lot screentime between the two having a tender moment together (aside from X2 when they were on the floor hugging and holding each other after their battle...).

gah... my mind is slow. :( anyway...those are just some of my thoughts based on what I see... only with my own two eyes. :cool:

and I think he meant it- each word. He understood how much Jean means to Scott and he's accepted that Jean was meant for Scott. Plus he said it in a way to make him feel better and it shows that he is also concerned for him too. Thats the way i see..it ...the thing is, when I watch a movie, I become associated with that character and I tend to explore his character arc to understand him more. So I like to get inside the character's head and explore all sides of his arc from emotions to physical...but its mostly emotions I explore and if its that good, it really makes you appreciate the character more. It all depends really how you take it out of context or within the context and how it all fits within the storyline and so forth...

He knows Jean isnt herself hence the kissing and Jean unbuckling his pants telekinetically. When she wakes up, its Phoenix who picks up on Logan's feelings for Jean and she acts on it and this is when she controls him and untames him but only for a short time- Logan snaps out of it as if he was in a trance and backs off realizing "No ... this can't be happening... Jean, this isn't you."
"It is me..."she says in a husky voice. Logan moves towards her and her touches her face. She tries to lean forward to kiss him in order to continue what she started with him but Logan doesn't allow it. He holds her still as he talks, "Jean...whats wrong with you? The professor said you might be...different." At this, Jean stops struggling and panting. She looks coldly at Logan. "He would know, wouldn't he. What? You think he got in your head too?" Logan begans to slowly back away from her. "Look at you Logan. He tamed you." Logan is startled by the loud shattering of glass objects and glass cabinet doors falling onto the floor. He turns back to Jean and he rushes forward, putting his hands on either side of her head. "Stop IT!! jean. Look at me. It'll be alright." She stares up at him and she has tears in her eyes. I keep repeating myself about how I feel about Jean loving Logan. I feel..she loves him but not in the same way she loves Scott. She cares about Logan deeply enough but she devotes herself only to Scott- no one else but Scott. Same goes with Logan. He loves her...but at the same time, he understands they can;t be together but he still cares about Jean and you know he'll still be around if Jean ever wanted to you know chat about certain things. I think Logan respects her and admires her that choosing Scott over him is the right thing but no matter what, if Jean ever needed someone to talk to (in case Scott wasn't around) she knows Logan will always be there for her if she wants to talk and thats what friends are for: Caring, Understanding, Listening and Accepting.

Im not saying Scott has that in him but Im just saying you know if theres something bothering Jean and she doesn't know how to tell Scott, there's always Logan if she wants to tell someone...

I agree that the Logan/Jean relationship adds some spice or whatever u call it but i think it adds tension between both relationships. Both Jean and Logan know they can't be together -even if it happened, it wouldn't last long anyway. Jean is for Scott. No one can love Jean the way Scott does. Logan can be by her side as a friend- nothing more but they do share a bond (a deep friendship-wise) but not a strong-love bond she has with Scott. :)

anyway... yeah. If it wasn't for the characters/actors making these two great relationshps believable, then I wouldn't be here ripping out the thoughts in these brain cells from my head. :p

Omg, but it tears my heart out though. Logan really loves Jean, but he can't have her. And with such a rough past, he needs something to hold onto! It's just realy too bad that it can't be Jean. I mean, I know that can still be friends, but still..... grrr..

I think, the moment when Jean entered his life, Logan begins to break hold of what he was before he ever met Jean and the X-Men. He was always thinking about himself, not caring about others, but I feel with his relationship with Rogue,it helped break those boundries surrounding the way he feels about certain things like emotions and how the whole world hates and fears mutants. The I see it, Rogue's relationship began to change him, but I think his relationship with Jean is what made the rest of "those" boundries disappear and it helped Logan feel more comfortable in terms of fitting in and being accepted by others like him.

So by the time events unfold in X2, when Logan sees Jean for the first time after being away for so long, I mean watch the scene again...after he says "Hey Jean". He seems different when he's around her and he's always emotional - again watch his facial expression. -sighs- Its like what happened to the rough side of Logan and remember when he grabbed Jean by the throat? eh? lol. What a great way to meet someone new.

"What if I grab the pretty Dr by the throat? erm...crap". lol And when she walks through the door way and Prof X says "And I believe you've already met Dr. Jean Grey." lol I would feel ashame for myself for grabbing a woman by the throat like that...even if it was someone as hot as Jean. lol The way Logan was checking her out... the way she walked.
