That's because they're limited. All he does is hunt vampires. He has no time for a lovelife, whatever new villain he encounters is gonna be some kind of vampire, who he's most likely gonna kill-there's nowhere to really go.

That's odd. It's what drew me to the book in the first place. Mignola's a fine artist but I guess it's an acquired taste.

Superman, oddly enough. I don't think I've ever bought a Superman comic, except for the Worlds at War, and even then I gave up when I bought the first three and saw there were going to do at least 856 more "special issues" in order to resolve a pretty simple plotline.
