I do. I will be purchasing the album when it comes out... but I do like to listen to it before I purchase it. I discover quite a few bands by downloading the albums... then if I like them I buy their albums/shirts/tickets to shows/etc.

Oh goddam!!!!!!!!! I'm DEFINITELY going to buy that ****e!!! something I've noticed, Tool is kinda like AC/DC, every time they put out a new album, you know how it's going to sound, what kind of music it will be, in other words, you always know what to expect, and in both cases, they always rock our faces off

yet, they're completely different bands

I do. I loathe iTunes with a passion. I like having the actual CD. I like looking at the booklet and the album art, etc. I like seeing my CD rack with it's 300-some CDs.

I like having the CD too.

However, I'm not going to spend $50+ to get a CD from Germany, Britain, Japan, or Kazahkstan, nor am I going to spend $300 on a out-of-print CD when I can use a filesharer to get it, and spend that money on something more important.

It seems people either love it or hate it. I have been reading all the threads over on one of the Tool forums. It's crazy over there. I like it... I don't think it's amazing. But I definitely need to listen to it more. I wasn't a huge fan of the single "Vicarious" on first listen... but now I really like it. I have only listened to the album twice, I guess I'll listen to it all tommorow and then I should be able to give it a better judgment then. It's a weird album... definitely weird.
