You're right. They should of developed it for the PS3/XBOX 360.

These are tough times. They probably won't give the game much thought. Now that Pandemic joined Bioware, they hopefully have more ambitious (and less outdated) game concepts in the works.

Well if its getting developed by the Australian division (like the first game) Thats the reason is a curret gen title.

Australian developers have not yet made the expensive leap to next gen development, although I am sure that now they are a part of BIOWARE the upgrade would be less costly.

To be honest I would have prefered a Mercenaries sequel but this will do. Most intriguing part of the statement?

'Cyrpto will have access to "an upgraded arsenal of weapons and enhanced mental abilities" as he battles a slew of new enemies ranging from "secret agents and giant creatures to Soviet Forces and ninja warriors."'

So if you ever wanted to ass rape a ninja with a space gun, you're in luck.

I see nothing wrong with PS2. I have a 360 but there's a lot of games I still play on my PS2 and X Box. Just because a new console comes out doesn't automatically make every game on the old console all of a sudden ****e.

Mercenaries needed more style, better gameplay and better environments.

I got the Outfit, and I enjoyed it, but it's definityl not like Mercenaries (or at least as much as you would think...that's what made me go for it, but its more like an RTS with you as the soldier than anything else).


Mercenaries definitly rocked, though . Fuel bombing the crap out of Korea never got old. For next one, I wanna nuke! Speaking of RTS, I quite enjoyed AVP Extinction and Shattered Union. wouldn't mind a sequel to either....
