I really HOPE the Spider logo's from the Blue/Red suit is alot different to the Black one instead of just a colour job.
Venom's Spider should be cool to see ... can't wait untill Sony ( probaly in a few months ) shows some stuff regarding Venom and other villains

Spidey 3 Sunday and Monday Set Reports & Pics
Source: Superhero Hype!
June 13, 2006
We've received word what happened on the Spider-Man 3 New York set on both Sunday and Monday. First up is 'Pots N Pans' about Sunday (spoilers ahead!)...
With my knowledge of production, and a keen sense of the eye I noticed that all the extras had on dark winter coats. So I selected a light dark jacket before I left the house and decided to blend in with the extras!!! At one time I thought I was busted because a wardrobe woman pointed me out, but she only wanted me to take off my all black hat because it had a logo on it. Sucker!
The scene I was in involved in included Peter and a little boy in a Spidey suit!!!! Peter at the event to shoot Spider-Man Day for the Bugle while kids equipped with their webslingin' silly string toys were shooting them off like crazy. Parker gets hit in the face by a little boy with silly string and acts as if he is going to shoot his web at him. He then kneels down and shows the boy his spidey suit underneath and gives him a wink. The boy excited runs over to his mom to tell her, but she doesn't believe the boy of course.
Looks like Peter is really getting confident!!!
Another scene as earlier reported involved Sandman (with no Sandman) and the entrance of the Chambers Street Station. The stunt placed a fake news stand right next to the station and they used wind machines to create an effect. Papers flew and the newsstand gets pushed aside like nothing. Very cool scene.
Stunt Double Spidey was there in full Jedi Master Attire! Pretty cool photo. Imagine Spidey as a Jedi! I got 2 pictures of me and Spidey! Super nice crew working on the Spider-Man set.
The Spidey cam was in full effect to shooting fly over scenes.
Last shot of the day involved Peter walking by Brock. Brock is really getting jealous.
You can view all of Pots N Pans' latest photos here! Meanwhile, 'Peter Parker' tells us about Monday (with photos shown below)...
I was at the Foley Square set today. I arrived shortly after the lunch break since I had been there 2 days before and hadn't seen anything, but crowd reactions and Spidey-Cam shots. So about 5 minutes after I got there, a grey van pulled up and the Stunt Man in the Spider-Man suit stepped out covered in a hooded robe. The PA's walked him to the stage where Bryce Dallas Howard stood, hooked him up to a cable, and suspended him about 15' above the stage. In the scene he lowers to the stage upside-down to greet the crowd and Gwen Stacy.

It must be the stunt double, cause it looks like Tobey was shooting another scene at the same time. But it's screwed up- They used to have Tobey do ALL of Spidey's scene involving acting and dialogue. That was good because it helped to give the feel that he was really Spidey.

SM1 you could at least tell it was Tobey kissing DUnst... so I'm thinking maybe Gwen just kisses him with the mask on... don't see why MJ would be that pissed off...

That makes sense. It seems weird that Gwen would passionately kiss some stranger on a stage in front of hundreds of people. Probably just a peck on the cheek or lips through the mask. Still enough to piss off MJ though. Some girls can be that way.

That's not the greatest logic. ;) (although the hat was pretty cool)
Sandman is the main villain. Venom will make his climatic entrance at the end.

Venom may not be the main villain, but Topher will have a much larger role than THC. I'm sure Eddie will get more screen time than Sandman, and he'll be a lot closer to Peter personally (unless any of that nonsense about Marko being Uncle Ben's real killer turns out to be true...).

at what point did that happen? the posters outside the theatre all said "Mary Jane Watson" and the character she was playing wasn't Emma Rose -- at what point was she known as Emma Rose?
She never played a character called Emma Rose in SM2. She modeled for, what I'm assuming is, a cosmetics company called Emma Rose. Next time you go to a department store, walk through the cosmetics/perfume section, and you'll know what I mean. They're just reusing the name here. Maybe it's Raimi's kid or something...

This is weird, the link has this information but it doesn't really explain why it's there or where it came from but it describes a similiar scene that I read about before....
Peter Parker is sent by The Daily Bugle to cover the city's first annual "Spider-Man Day." It seems New York has finally come to realize that Spider-Man is friend and not foe. At the ceremony there are big red and blue balloons with webbed designs on them - plush dolls of the 'ol webhead and children dressed up as their hero.
Parker focuses in on one child in particular who's dressed in full costume, equipped with toy webslingers that disperse silly string. As parker snaps shots, the boy sprays him with the string and laughs in rivilery. Parker leans in close and winks to the young boy, pulling back the collar of his shirt to reveal the red and blue spider-suit beneath.
Delighted, the small boy fights back a squeal - his face lit up like an 18-wheeler's high beams burning through the night. He runs quickly to his mother, pulling up his mask and tugging on her dress - confessing to her the biggest secret he's learned in his life to this point. She smiles and runs her fingers through his shaggy hair saying, "Sure he is dear."

On SHH's front page..

Spiderman! Save my baby!
Today I went down to City Hall to watch them film Spiderman 3, which was pretty fun. I got myself a nice new sketchbook and have been on a bender filling it up all day. I wandered around the set with Farah after she got off jury duty drawing various crew members and whoever was in the Spiderman suit, because as I said so many times today, how often do you get to draw Spiderman from life?
(In the upper left corner, I'm saying "I can no longer draw myself accurately. Oh well.")
They spent a good three hours filming two very short takes. One was more entertaining to watch, because it invovled a lot of extras, three giant fans and a big fat guy standing in front of the fans to release "debris," which is Hollywood talk for crumpled up newspapers, I guess, and anyway the fans made his face ripple like he was in a convertible going 200 mph. After a couple practice runs of "Roll video! Fans! DEBRIS!" a dude with Spiderman boots poking out from under his robe walked onto the set and proceeded to put on the mask and disrobe, and, hey, it was ****ing Spiderman. Saving a baby, over and over again. I gave Farah my camera and she took so many pictures of Spiderman's nice ass. It was excellent.
All Spiderman ass shots credit Farah Ali
Also excellent: I guess people assumed that since I was drawing little things that looked like panels (I've just gotten into the habits of drawing in boxes, even just sketches), I was some sort of official storyboard artist and it got me a lot closer than I probably should have gotten and four requests for my business card, which was SWEET although I don't so much have a business card. I chatted with some actor named Panama and a couple members of the crew about stuff in general and who was actually in the Spiderman costume. Apparently, it's not Tobey Maguire, both because he's paid a thousand dollars an hour and because he "doesn't have the body for it anymore." Ouch.

Funny set report:
after leaving the starbucks i decided to wander by one of my former workplaces. on the way i saw what seemed to be a festival of some sort. it turned out to be a shoot for spiderman 3. i somehow wandered past the guards and sat down next to a pack of extras, placing me a mere ten feet from longtime celebrity crush kirsten dunst. oh man. so attractive. i didn't want to be all creepy and try to make some small talk with her, so i hung back and ate a hot dog that they were giving to the extras.
after the hot dog i noticed that sam raimi was also a mere 10 feet from me. he looks like a short version of a former employer of mine. once they were done shooting, and dunst high-tailed it out of there (much to my disappointment) the extras started going up to raimi for pictures and the like. at first i was going to take the same approach that i had with dunst (hang back), but soon found myself approaching him. having nothing much to say to him, no camera and no paper for an autograph, when i got up to him i whipped out my copy of underworld and had this conversation:
me: hi
sr: hello
me: i appreciate your work and i'm a fan of don delillo...
sr: [interrupting] wow
me: ...so i was wondering if you could sign my copy of underworld.
sr: sure, what do you want me to write?
me: hell, i don't know, whatever.
[sr scribbles on the title page]
sr: good to meet you.
me: you too, good luck.
sr: good luck to you too.
so basically i got the director of evil dead to sign my copy of underworld. he wrote: "be responsible, be kind to others. -sam raimi"
sweet.
significance abound.
if only kirsten dunst had found herself inexplicably drawn to me...

I hope she's not completely right,I would like to actually have Maguire in the suit it gives a more realistic element to the movie and not knowing that it is a stunt double behing the mask all the time.

He'll be a great Sandman. He's an example of someone who bulked up. I saw him on "Ned and Stacy" back in the day, and the dude was skinny.
And bad at acting.
Anyhoo - what's with Spider-Man saving babies? Is that the same prop-baby they used in the first movie? Same blanket and everything? :)
I'm just a leeeetle opposed to Peter Parker revealing his suit to a little kid. It's a bit of a nitpick, because I know no one will believe the kid, and at worst he can always tell people he's wearing the suit for Spider-Man appreciation day, but it seems a little too much of an echo from the "whole subway sees Spidey without mask" thing.

Eh... it's just a little kid. Cute scene. Doesn't bother me too much. It does bother me when Peter rips his shirt open to reveal the suit right in front of tons of people, though (like in the World Unity Festival scene from SM1). Bleh. That's different.

Of course we're talking about Spider-Man Day where kids, dogs and adults are dressed as Spider-Man so I wouldn't think it would make such a big issue...If it were me, I would just say "Of course Billy, I'm sure that was SM..."

How are those two things even in the same league? The train reveal was due to an accident that he couldn't prevent- and the kid thing was Peter actually having some fun with being Spider-Man and making that kid's day. For Peter, Spider-Man is a big burden in his life. He'd have to let off a little steam and find some joy in it or he'd go nuts.

And it probably will be an adorable scene - that picture of Spidey hugging that kid is TOO ADORABLE! Gets the ol' estrogen flowing...
Still - I think for the baby-scene they could have used another prop-infant, or at least a different blanket.
"Spider-Man! Save my conspicuously-wrapped baby from stroller!"
"Aren't you the same mom from the fire? You really don't know how to parent, do you?"
Besides - why wrap a baby if it's in a stroller already? Kinda weird - although seeing Spidey fly around with a plastic doll-like kid in the film would be weird too.

You're not a parent are you? :)
Not to accuse you or anything like that, but when you have a newborn you take care of that precious thing as much as possible. Especially if this scene is supposed to be set in the Fall (heavy jackets on extras - although this scene might be in a different period), you would want to wrap them up to retain their body heat.
Of course the logistics to it would be that you would want to cover the baby as much as possible so that's not as noticeable when it's just a doll....

Even though it would be something different, i'm still not with it. Having Spider-Man face his villains or i don't and that person knowing who he is? That really bothers me. The whole idea of Spidey was he saved people but who was the man behind the mask? Now all of that is gone.

Yeah it seems stupid. I'm not impressed with the whole Civil War thing, just more publicity crap to sell books. I understand that they're making Spidey the central character of the series, first siding with Iron Man, for the SHRA, then later joining with Cap and those opposed.

SPIDER-MAN 3 teaser coming at us faster than a speeding bullet??
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with some interesting rumors for ya'. I've gotten contacted by many spies within the theatrical exhibition world claiming they've received lists of trailers to play in front of SUPERMAN RETURNS here in a couple weeks. On that list is SPIDER-MAN 3, which will be "in the can, but not attached." No run time was mentioned in this list.
This has been confirmed by different sources. I'm now thinking that perhaps all that LA shooting from last November might have been part of a teaser campaign...

It's a fake, and an obvious one at that. It's clearly from the scene in "Spider-Man 2", when he's trying to get Harry to tell him where to find Otto. ("There are bigger things happening here than me and you.") The Black costume doesn't blend in well in this manip, and if it is in fact the symbiote-the symbiote doesn't tear.:spidey:

Doesn't Gwens Father die early in the Beginning ? That can be HIS Funeral & I would think that Peter, MJ & Harry all know Gwen so there you go
It looks like there at Central Park, not a funeral. I still think its Harry's funeral.
