Well im skeptical to be honest of how much movie footage will be shown for the moment.

The X-men site has a "MUTANT CURE SUMMIT" coming soon as one of the newer features.

I'd expect the general public will be shown the Summit for about 5 minutes, then 2 minutes leading up to Scott finding Jean at Alkali Lake.

5 mintues of the summit could easily include Dr. Hank McCoy, and world genetics leader Dr. Moira McTaggert.
Additionally leaders of the cure Dr. K Rao and Warren Worthington II.
As well we could easily see the President and Gen. Trask.
If Brett wanted to explain Senator Kelly's absence from X3, he could insert Kelly here, as one of the Senators last acts while in offfice.
Perhaps Professor X at the summit as well.
If you can recall they did a similar mini for X1 about the politics of mutants.

So thats the majority of this 7 minute feature focused on the short "Cure Summit" and the last minute focusing on Scott's arrival at Alkali Lake and to end with the dramatic explosion that sends Scott flying. With the potential to show Phoenix for the 1st time or leave it as a teaser and something u need to see in the movies.

FYI - it's the series finale and very last episode of "That 70's Show" so it should have a huge audience. And the show is airing that night from 8:00-9:00 so X-3 will be shown right at the halfway point.

Scott's death isn't still for sure. It's as up in questions marks as it ever was. The junior novel pages say he's bathed in white light and his skin gets tight, and yes, that sounds like deathhhh, butttt....on the other hand the Junior Novel was not kept up to date like Claremont was, I'd wait to see what Claremont has written.
