You'd think they would. I mean it is a movie about the battle of Thermopyle, there has to be some badass fighting in it.

This movie looks like it will be amazing.

Who are you talking to? Me? If so then yes and the book as some great battles.

I mean, this is Frank Miller we're talking about--he MIGHT have dropped the ball the past few years, but the man can still write a kickass fight sequence--so if the moviemakers are as faithfull to the book as they say they are, then we should have nothing to worry about.

From what i understand, Frank got involved more after visiting the set after production started. Unfortunatly, he isn't as involved as he was in sin city. But Zack is a damn good director, and knows how to shoot action. This guy made the cooler than it should've been Dawn of the Dead remake.

Haven't seen Dawn (not a big fan of zombie flicks), but from the looks of things so far, Zack should be pretty good.

You guys heard the news that he's now being being thrown around for director for Watchmen?

Zack isn't as good as Robert Rodriguez. This movie looks to be promising, but I can't help but think it would be that much better if Rob Rod and Frank Miller co-directed it like with Sin City.

I wouldn't downplay Zack. He's not so hands on as Robert, but thats not a negative in general.

Well to be fair, Zach doesnt have as many movies under his belt compared to Rodriguez.

I was not too impressed with Sin City at all, so hopefully this will be better.

Snyder is awesome. He has only done a few films but all have rocked, whereas I find Rodriguez VERY hit and miss.

I wouldn't really say he is THAT hit and miss. I think it's just because of the diviserty of his films, that a lot of people will like some of his films, and not others. I know people that LOVE Sin Cit and the Mariachi films, but hate Spy Kids. It's not becasue they are bad films, but because they are just completely different, and it doesn't suit their taste in films.

Well, the newest journal focuses on the fight Choreagraphy, so that should answer this question pretty well.

Eh, seems like it might lack a little energy. It'll probably look better in the end though.

300 SHOULD have epic and gory fight scenes! If NOT then this movie will SUCK since that is really what the mini was about.

I'm hoping for a Braveheart meets Gladiator type deal.

I'm looking for this to be THE sleeper movie of the year when it finally hits. So far this movie has me stoked to see it. I hope they market this thing the way it should be.

And I'm thinking this will have copious amounts of badass fighting as well as death and dismemberment.
