You "pretend" to care about other people's opinions?

here's a scene I'd like to see -
it's late. there's a storm.
Gordon sits in an interrogation room across from some thug he's trying to get information out of. a single bulb hangs from the ceiling. there's an open window through which we can hear the rain and thunder, however a metal grate is attached to the outside to prevent any escape. Gordon is getting nowhere so he decides to get a cup of coffee leaving the thug alone in the room.
as the thug sits there, he hears the grate rattle a little but figures it must be the wind. suddenly, more rattling. the thug is unnerved. the grate begins to shake violently against the window frame until it is suddenly pulled off into the night but some unseen force.
the thug begins to freak out. he runs to the locked door and begins pounding on it, screaming through the small glass pane in the door to let him out. his back is towards the camera as we slowly see Batman's silhouette begin to fill part of the frame.
we then cut to outside of the room where we hear indiscernible screams coming from inside as Gordon leans calmly against the wall drinking his coffee.

I think that they should show how far ther corruption goes in the police force having Bruce or Gordon see Loeb hanging around with Sal Maroni.

I've heard that the mob boss will have ties with Thomas Wayne and theo nly person i know to fit that is Lew Moxon. He was the one who hired Joe Chills in the comis to kill Bruce's parents.

Or Black Mask. His father was friends with Thomas Wayne, while Bruce and him weren't really at odds with eachother when they were children.

I have an idea that's out of this world.
Cast Bettany as the Joker.

Mob boss Sal Maroni is seated at a table amidst a small group of thugs. His mission, to eliminate Batman and Gordon, thereby clearing the way for his slow and malicious takeover of Gotham.
As the discussion finally comes to a close, the 7 men arise from the table and slowly walk away. One of them is a tall, rugged character with shaggy, dark hair and a thick mustache. With a menacing grin on his face, he offers Sal one last glance, then finds his way to a limo that seems to pull up just in time, as if somehow planned this way. The rugged man enters the limo, looks up at the driver and says, "We've got him this time Alfred! Make no mistake. Sal Maroni's plans come to a dead hault .. TONIGHT"! "Quite so .. Matches Malone. Quite so", the elder gentleman replies.
With that, "Matches" removes the hair piece on his head, then rips away at the false mustache firmly planted above his lip. The face behind the guise is that of a young, determined man with a grim purpose. He is Bruce Wayne, The Batman.

I mean the mob boss that Black mask is working for.
If you look at:

That will show you the plot outline and give you hints on the bad guys. And if you'll look at:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/joe_chill
You'll see that the description and the charcter fit together.

I knew who you were talking about, I was mainly answering the "ties to Thomas Wayne" mention in your post when I said Black Mask. Like I said before, his father new Bruce's during their childhood. But Moxon would be fitting. I could see a flashback sequence happening which would involve Moxon at a party that Bruce's father attended, Thomas was wearing a bat like costume. This occured in Detective Comics #235, and not to mention it was add to the fact that Linus Roache has been rumored to return for more flashback scenes. Though if he were to return, I doubt it was be for the scene I just described.

That scene sounds so damn awesome.
And if it were to happen, I think it would be very deep for the film's quality. I want to see it, I hope it happens! :(

No wiat hang on i have a better idea. In long Hallowwen Alfred said that Thomas Wayne might have filed a report on Luigi Maroni. Well, i've changed my mind on the whole mob boss thing it should be Sal Maroni. Who had Thomas Wayne killed for putting his father in jail.

Nah, I dont like the idea of turning Thomas Wayne's murder into a hit, at least not for these movies. Batman Begins made a big deal of the fact that the Wayne's were killed by some random mugger, a desperate man just doing what he had to in order to survive. They were killed by the very people they were trying to protect. I'd rather they not go and essentialy retcon that, making it a hit instead.
Besides, do we really need another villain who's responsible for his parents death? We've seen that before.
