View Full Version : Will Stanford make Brainiac?
Cinemaman

I have one question, is it possible that Stanford can make Brainiac at the end of SR? If it is so, we will get full Brainiac in sequel.
What you think?

I don't know how smart the guy's supposed to be, but I doubt it.
If anything, I could see him maybe "discovering" something having to do with Brainiac. But I don't think he could just come up with the idea.
Maybe he's smart enough to create Metallo?

thats possibl but i thinks it is more likely that stanford "unleashes" brainiac from fiddling with kryptonina technology

There is abolutely no basis at all for the conlusion or speculation that Brainiac will make any kind of appearance whatsoever. You could just as easily say that Luthor could possibly end up using his kryptonite to make Metallo.

He won't be the next Otis, more like a cooler version of Gus Gorman. He won't discover "Kryptonian Technology", he will find out how to activate it.

I think Lex will have a little dialogue with Stanmford and he will mention Brainiac, his new project.
And then in sequel we will know that Lex found Brainiac.

Doesn't mean he isn't qualified to play the role. Lots of people gets jobs initially because of who they know and go on to do them very well...

What does that have to do with anything? He is an actor that potrayed a humerous character in a humerous movie. Many actors do comedy and drama, "that's why they call them actors Kent".
If you can't accept him in a serious role than that is your opinion and that is ok too.

THis is how they can do it: Stanford will use a computer program to manipulate the technology, and he dubs it "Brainaic". It think it would be a cool touch. At the sametime, for the sequel, how can you make Brainaic into a humanoid? Unless there's mutation going on, or even the technology can possess a human (thus becomeing a superhuman cyborg), I don't know how they can do it.

Not bad. And then in sequel they will improve it and turn into Brainiac from STAS.

That's the rumor so far, I would rather them continue the Halloween franchise. There is a rumor they might remake John Carpenters Halloween. Doesn't make sense, it still stands today.
Robert England is the one who came up with the idea of bringing Micheal Myers into the fold. I don't really know how much sway this guy has, but I don't like the idea.
I think we need to wait and see on the Bay remake. I think he is going to give us a better origin on the character of Jason. Time will tell.

lets not judge a character before we know anything substantial about it. Kal has done some good movies, they may have been comedies, but some were quite good. Almost garenteed he'll turn out to be the one goon Luthor has that will be any fun/or importance watching.

Robin Williams - Comedian who had a great role in Insomnia. Ryan Reynolds - A comedic actor, was great in Amityville Horror, regardless of whether you liked the film. Bill Murray - Comedian, ended up playing Polonius in the new version of Hamlet. And there's a whole lot more. Its ridiculous that because somebody plays a comedic role that means they can't handle a serious one. If anything, people that are comedians can take quite easily to serious roles, as their humor usually comes from serious events. Although thats besides the point. The damn movie isn't out yet, so stop judging the Stanford character already.

gimme a break! that's like saying michael keaton wouldn't be a good batman cause he was in all those comedies in the 80s(mr. mom, beetlejuice, etc.). yeah he was crappy batman(i'm being sarcastic!!). and have you seen any of singer's films? they aren't funny. they are super serious. you act like he's making a batman and robin type superman movie. i think the real question is how can you be taken seriously??

I thought I had purchased the special edition DVDs....but when I watched the movies, they didn't have any of the extra footage woven into them. Does the SE have the scenes where Luthor tests Supe's abilities right before he comes into Luthor's lair?
