nope, it was cut differently. Having the actual name of the movie and release date on the bottom of the screen in the traditional silver writing is something i havent seen before for any movie for that matter. The ending was a metallic screen with the large title in the silver writing, not that font they've been using for the posters

I was on a running machine and they had one of the music channels on....MTV, Smash Hits...one of them, then the advertisements came on. At this point I was quite tired as i'd been running for about 10 minutes. Then all of a sudden I hear a familiar voice say 'you have no idea'. I was shocked and then I heard the sirens from the 2nd TV spot we have already seen. I was facing the opposite direction to the screen so I didnt see anything but half of the gym did! It was only short. I tried to turn around to watch but I nearly fell over so I just kept running!

So my first experience of the UK marketing of X-Men 3 was today. I was red in the face, facing the wrong direction and panting like a dog!

Hey, I live in Australia and i have seen all of them... they are up at the Hoyts in Fox Studios...
I cant quite remember all of them but Angel's one had him in the leather uniform, similar to Logan and i think it said Liberated/Alienated.
The Dark Phoenix was something like Powerful/Dangerous... or Mighty/powerful, i think thats it... i dont really think it suited... it should have shown both sides of her, as dark phoenix and Jean Grey

The Prof X one was strange... Teacher/Manipulator... I know he's a telepath, but it kind of implies that he has been up to something kind of sinister... oh well... and there was no beast one, which annoyed me...
Oh, and why is one of Storms words 'cursed'? I think of all the x-men she's like the least cursed... If she wanted to live life like a human she could, except occasionally make it cold when she buys a new sweater. Hmmm... i dunno... cool pics tho... The Jean one is the same pose as we have seen before, on the Take a Stand Posters...Angels is quite special though... i am getting so excited... Posters in Oz have started popping up everywhere! Nearly every second Bus has an add for X-men on it, Busstops, billboards... i cant believe it's only 14 days away!

The WonderCon posters have popped up in Mahattan again (including on the side of buildings), but instead of saying "Take a Stand" on them, this time they said "The Last Stand" with the date. I've also seen the one poster with the collage of Angel, Wolverine, etc. in the subway (of course not on MY side) and every night as I walk through the tunnel in Penn Station I pass right by the Take a Stand Wolverine poster - one of these days I may actually touch it. :)

Hey Lex - this is a little OT for this forum, but I know you live in Australia, and just wanted to let you know about Hugh's Boy from Oz shows down under - they keep adding shows/dates to all the venues (they just added two more shows in Sydney), and all ten dates in Brisbane at least are SOLD OUT (I'm sure most of them are). I think the venue there seats about 12,000. And yes, a lot of "Ozalots" from the US are traveling to Oz just to see him (in numerous venues and more than one show).

Thats a good point but you got Magneto and Phoenix who are on the other side but non- X fans would not know Jean is Dark Phoenix so yeah good point.
