Think about it, people. If she's overseas getting intense training, wouldn't this make her a prime candidate for the position? It would be a hell of a twist, especially if Shiva is taking her place in BOP (im not totally sure the status of this).

Possible, maybe? It would be a hoot if she came back even badder ass and kicked Bruce's booty for fun. Of course he might like that...

52 is where she'll be appearing, but her actual debut isn't until issue #11 of the series.

My guess would be Rene Montoya, not that I'm particulary fond of the idea of her becoming a costumed vigilante,but having a lesbian superhero character,and her possibly having her own monthly book screams of CNN type publicity for DC.

i hope not....i love dinah lance, and i love her has canary....having her as batwoman would mean not having black canary......and that'd make me sad :(

My guess would be Rene Montoya, not that I'm particulary fond of the idea of her becoming a costumed vigilante,but having a lesbian superhero character,and her possibly having her own monthly book screams of CNN type publicity for DC.Funny enough, DC's done that already with the new Catwoman.

Not going to happen. Lots of DC characters have had intense training.

And I really hope that Batwoman doesn't get her own ongoing :(

Wasn't it confirmed by comicscontinuum.com before OYL began that she would within the year? That's when all the speculation started of who was under the mask.

Why do you guys think that just because she is under a lot of hard training that she could be the next Batwoman?

And why would they not have her be Black Canary anymore? That would be removing the Black Canary unless someone became the new one which I think should not happen.

i'm guessing that it's Montoya under the mask, seeing as though she is playing a big role in 52.
