Yeah, Magento's head is literally taken from X2--look to the prison scenes with Xavier or Laurio. Even the "under-the-face" lighting is replicated.

Haha. Jason makes me laugh. He looks like a deranged cartoon. Yeah . . . I won't be taking this game as a serious explanation for the occurence of events between X2 and X3, but it will still to be interesting, and hopefully fun, to play to say the least.

Here's what I think:

Sabretooth-Not dead. Never thought he was dead. He fell through a boat for christ's sake. He can get up from that and brush himself off no problem.

Jason-It was only implied. His body was limp anyway. If his head is unharmed or his brain survived, there really is no problem. lol He probably didn't even feel anything. Crushed body. Oooooh. The damn thing's already numb all over.

Deathstrike-I think they're going to impliment the cyborg thing from the comics (hell, with all the robots in this game it might all be linked and even be the reason Jason is walking apparantly.:confused:)...Maybe her father will even be involved.

Besides that, there are flashback levels like the statue of liberty fight between Sabretooth and Wolverine and the Alkali lake fight between Deathstrike and Wolverine. I personally can't wait for this game and I kind of wish the costumes in the game were the ones used in the movie. Oh well. The ones in the movie are awesome anyway. :)

Deathstrikes wasn't ever stated on film, but I thought the loud THUD of her hitting the water pretty much made it official.

Jason's confirmation of Death was filmed, but not shown until DVD. He gets crushed by a part of the ceiling right after Storm and Nighty escape with the Professor.

Deathstrike cannot be a cyborg. Regenerative capabilities DO have a stopping point, after all.

When you've been under a lake for 8 months filled with at least a ton of the strongest metal on earth, your lungs will have surely gone out by then (considering the liquid came out of her tear ducts, which are connected to the nasal passage, it would've also gone into her lungs. meaning she has absolutely no room to breathe. instant death.), meaning no oxygen to your brain, meaning no life at all.

With that in consideration:

Noone knew yuriko in X2. Stryker had her as his own personal slave, and noone even got a bit upset that she had gone missing. So it's safe to say that since it's pretty obvious noone knew she was missing... noone knows she's a 1 ton paper weight sitting in an adamntium lab at the bottom of a lake. Which means that noone could possibly retrieve her, since they don't know she's there (and thus would have no reason to look for her), and could not, absolutely, positively, cannot make a cyborg out of her.

It's impossible. end of story.

And just because no-one was SHOWN missing Yuriko Oyama, does not mean that no-one DID miss her. Like her father, the creator of adamantium in the first place. Maybe he didn't appreciate her and even GAVE her to Stryker along with the secret. Maybe Stryker killed him and took her and the secret of the adamantium bonding process along with him. It could be many things. The Evidence of absense is not the absense of evidence.
