I live in Cherry Hill. It's in South Jersey. Just a few minutes outside of Philadelphia. I saw the trailer first on Smallville. I Tivo'd it and watched it several times that night.

It was a sort of test panel site where you register and review which TV spot you liked more, sort of like a survey. Well people found a way to link to those videos. You know , its been months and months of constant waiting for a simple second coming of a trailer when other movies already have out 3 or even more. I personnaly am getting very annoyed by this constant repeating of the famous "be patient, im shure its coming". We have been patient, well i have anyway, and look, still nothing. Please hold back from using that line. Makes it almost sound like your one of WB PR people sent here to keep people calm. I have said time and again that the marketing for this is really bad. We get colloring book covers rather than actual trailer. Maybe SR will be a blockbuster at the box-office. But if its not, dont wonder why...

Orko, well if that is the case, that is truly brilliant marketing! But people have too much faith in WB...

Again, some are failing to understand who the trailer is marketed for, it's for the general public. The WB is losing no fans by releasing the trailer in late April or early May.

The general public has short attention spans and if the trailer was released even a month ago, they would already have POTC2 and X-Men on their minds. The only ones who are getting nervous about the trailer are those on the Hype and Bluetights boards respectively.

But who said they have to release only 1 trailer? Usually studios also attach it to many films in the coming months (after trailer first showing) so i doubt people would forget. Besides, i doubt the film is that forgettable...

That is a very good point, my theory is that they set up the trailer spacing the way it is because they were planning a Superbowl spot but changed the marketing strategy.

Returns is taking a different route, instead of two teasers and a trailer, or one teaser and two trailers, they are going to take the teaser, trailer, and multiple TV Spots route.

You have to remember that Superman isn't as exciting to non-Superman fans as it is to fans of the character. POTC2 is just as exciting to them.

I have the luxury of being able to tool around these boards from my office all day long if I choose to. This weekend my girlfriend happens to be horribly sick, so we didn't go out much. I figured this would be a great time to catch up on my writing and check out the new trailer or new info in relation to the trailer. That didn't happen, but I am not jumping off a bridge about it.

I love every minute of it and am trying to appreciate it, we are not going to feel this way again. It's Superman returning to the big screen for the first time since 1987. That is huge and I am embracing it.

I wasn't being smartassed, actually. It was an honest suggestion. The best way to keep threads like this on track is to lock them until the subject of the thread is actually OUT.

It's hard to discuss the trailer without seeing a trailer. And the teaser's had like 30 threads dedicated to it already.

In my opinion, I think we'll likely see the trailer on MI:3, Da Vinci, and Poseidon... MAYBE on X3 unless politics prevents it. And of course it'll be online at some point, and will show on television eventually(likely the last couple/few weeks leading up to release, like most films).

Who are you refering too? Nobody even posted a comment in regards to that post, including me? Even the person who posted it on the Kryptonsite didn't really by into it.

Actually going by this - which is disappointing, since we were hoping for a "Superman Returns" preview or something like that. Maybe it will change. - it sounds like he does believe there might be nothing because the WB said nothing

Well I don't think either of us can really speak for the person who posted, but the "maybe it will change" gave me the impression they weren't sold.

I doubt they're going to attach the trailer and a preview with Smallville anyway. So it will be one or the other.

ok lets go through the facts shelll we?

1. a friend of dnsk told him that the trailer is finished and that it will be with MI3.
2. iris told us that she thinks that it will be with MI3.
3. BT thinks that it could be with MI3.
4: iriss also thinsk that it could be online earlier.
5. steve has an info that the traielr wil lcoem soon. soon like in april.

lets say that today WB wants to relaese it with MI3. until may 5. they could still change teh realese date. and it looks like they are changing their minds notnstop.
i hope that they are not doign this with the production of the movie.

it looks like that steves info could be wrong. i am again not saying that steve is not telling the truth.

BT said that nothing is 100%. they can stil lchange everything. steve said soon. so that would mean this week. this week online and than next week the theatrical premiere with MI3? wooow. that would be cool.
but guys. this is WB and this is SR. the traielr wont be realesed hehehehe.
