Really odd windows problem

I'm having a problem with my computer. I'm running Win98 and whenever I minimize a window of any prgram, it doesn't appear at the bottom of the screen, it simply dissapeers. I have no idea how this happened because my mom and sister are the one who use the computer and they try to hide things from me if they mess something up.

Can anybody help?

CTRL ALT DEL then if the program(s) you minimized but aren't showing are there... you can hit "Switch To" and they should appear. I'm not sure... it might be something wrong with your taskbar where it hides everything?

I searched throught the taskbar menus and couldn't find anything that would do that unfortunately

that is an interesting problem.
Have you tried going to Microsoft and typed in the problem to see what you get?
