lol I thought this was gonna be about the size of the ears. :o

As long as it's not this big, no problem for me:

I prefer the BB ears. It wasn't very long, but not very short either. Just right. :batman:

I was pretty happy with the costume in BB overall. The first publicity photos I thought it was weird how the ears seemed angled in, but I guess I got used to it or something, because it doesn't bother me at all. I like the costume as it is, especially the cowl.

One leaning forward and one leaning back.

And just for the record, Burtion's bat-ears were leaning forward just like B Begins ones, just longer.

The length, shape, and overall structure of Batman's ears are of minuscule concern to me.

PS - Boom, start being cool again.

Burton's Batman had ears that were more straight up than Nolan's Batman.

Agreed,....the Begins cowl is excellent but the extreme ear angle (outside to inside) creates an odd look at times. I like the forward tilt but would prefer if the overall look was more like the first three films.

The leaning bat-ears look intimidating, and always ready to pounce.

I've always been a fan of short ears myself - a la Frank Miller or Jim Lee - but I'm an even bigger fan of consistency. I had wished that Bale's cowl had shorter ears when I first saw it, but, it is as it is, and I'm not bothered by it, so I say let's keep the same.

Although, like CConn says, it really isn't that big a deal. As long as they're not Tim Sale sized or nonexistant, we're fine.

TheFalcon

I don't really care that much about how the ears looks. They looked okay in Begins and they should keep them that way.

As long as they don't look like this I'll be happy:

Longer, pointing straight upward but ever so slightly curved, like the cowls in Burton's movies.

Yes, debates about such trivial matters shows that Batman Begins was near flawless :( :D

Paul Bettany + Smokes = Good Times. I thought about turning this pic into an avy: http://www.paulbettany.net/gallery/albums/candid/misc/15.jpg (javascript:;) but it offends me so.

Jeeez are you geeks or what?!?!?
I"m going to show my friend this page, he's going to flip. He already dispises comic book fanatics. And I see that these are the kind of things that make him and many others look down on us...
Are you kiddding me?? Bat ear debates?!?!? OMG if it WAS Joker ear debates that would have been super pathetic!

The Joker is in himself the Marlon Brando, or the Jack Nicholson of Comic book charectors...

You need to have that same kind of actor.. That fits that mold... Not an up and coming actor or an unknown, but someone that can really knock our feet off. Someone that is on that level that we know has that kind of performance. I really think he's old but the only guy that could really fit that as I see right now, is Robin Williams.. I didnt think it was a good idea at first, but I thought and thought and thought about it.. And I'm figuring this is the only guy I see right now that could pull off such a powerful role as the Joker.

Get out of here. I mean it. Just put a brick or a fence post in your place. The contributions either of those objects would make to this thread would be slightly better than yours, but not by enough that anyone would notice the difference.
