*Mirage should be the autobot spy, not Bumblebee
*Optimus should only be a Trailer, duh!
*Megatron can be a gun or a tank, so long as he look like G1 Megatron in robot form.
The human element should remain an after thought.
*The should show scene from the war on Cybertron.
*Soundwave should be a communication device and not a Helicopter like some have suggested.

I was reading that Spielburg (sp?) was exec producer of this movie.

Megatron turning into a gun would be a wet dream for me. Can't see it happening though. So long as this movie is primarily about the Transformers and not their relationship with the humans i'll be happy...

I'll tell ya....the one thing I MUST have, is the sound of rotating gears as the robots transform. That sound from the cartoon is the sound of transformers to me. Even as I changed a toy as a kid, that was the sound I made.....needles to say I was doing it longer than it took place in the cartoon.

And I wholeheartedly agree. The sound is iconic. It should be modernized and updated and made cooler and all that jazz.... but, in the end it should sound unmistakably like that old transformation sound. There's no doubt about it.
