A new copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles part 1 to replace my old one & then I finally bought parts 2 & 3 for the first time. There wasn't anything wrong with my original TMNT part 1 disc aside from the fact that it was a flipper disc so I thought that the new one would at least be different but it was still a flipper disc just in a white case instead of a black case.

Devil's backbone was a little slow for me. It had some good scenes but the boxart advertised it as another Sixth Sense and it was far from that.

Pan's was a great flick but I was expecting a movie mostly based in a fantasy world. Not a movie about a little girl living in an imaginary world to escape the horrors of hers. If I knew the premise going in I would have liked it a lot more.

the "fantasy" world is still debateable... after all.. how'd she get into the room that was guarded to rescue her little brother, if she didnt use the magic chalk?

and ... lol backbone in many ways imo.. might just be better then sixth sense to be honest... maybe its because backbone is newer to me .. and sixth sense is played out? but i think backbone might be del toro's best work, i read on IMDB that after Hellboy2 hes doing yet another spanish movie based during the spanish civil war... this one is a ghost story about prisoners it seems

well devil's backbone wasn't a fantasy world... it was a brutal story about revenge... (i love his work because it's very unpredictable, the movies are mystery... and you never know who's going to live or die), the spanish civil war... i cant even remember learning about.. so i applaud him for bringing that into the picture.. though 3 movies about it is just a tad much... and we know he has a great fantastical mine.. but if you want more then what pan's offered... then hello, ... there is always hellboy.. and hellboy 2.. hellyboy 2 will dive right into as much fantastical thing's as you could probably ever want... since that is indeed it's main focus

No. I was at a horror convention yesterday and they are all about the bootlegs. I had a hard time finding any legit movie releases.

Howard didn't. It's a transfer from a digital source. The transfer is nice looking, but it only comes in Full Frame. The others were burned from VHS except the FF one which is the mysterious digitally remastered 1.85:1 transfer that is out there. It actually looks pretty good on my huge television. I was very leary on it looking decent.
