Oh, I dislike Sony now.

Picked up a Silent Hill/The Dark dvd (came with a FREE ticket to see the new Resident Evil movie in theaters). Back of case has films in widescreen. Put Silent Hill in...full screen. Disc in full screen...back of case has wide. :csad::dry: why? Don't even have the receipt, hopefully I can still take it back though. At least it wasn't a two-sided disc, but was a 2-disc set.

Its good just not great.Justin Timberlake is very good in the film but i do think he gets a bit to much screen time in it considering actors like Bruce Willis, Harry Dean Stanton, Emile Hirsch, Ben Foster and Shawn Hatosy are in it and dont have as much screen time as Justin.Sharon Stone wears a Really fake looking fat suit towards the end of the film that was shockingly bad and pulled me out of the movie a bit.Ild give the film 6/10 and say its worth a see

Not too bad actually, some liberties with the actual storyline from the comics but its definetly the most dark project the DC Animated Universe has done. I did a write up in the Superman/Doomsday thread in Misc. Supes thread and in terms of the core stuff ( Superman actually fighting Doomsday) its pretty good.

Well the main reason is that I didn't plan on having an HD DVD player, I just bought one online last night and I had already bought 300 online last week as it just came out here yesterday. That's pretty much it... so now I have the option of both formats and no exclusives will bother me anymore :woot:

What player did you buy? Cause apparently this title and "The Day After Tomorrow" don't work in the LG or Panasonic players.

And I'll be buying that movie on HD DVD in December :)
