But WB/Home Video "suggested" to Timm that he edit some scenes out because they wanted it to be a "kid" movie. But somehow the uncut version "leaked"(I think Timm had something to do with that) out unto the internet and for two years people pestered WB to release the non"watered-down" version. They won. This uncut version(and there's rumors that the even the"uncut" version STILL has GRIMMER scenes cut out) is way better than the kids one. You know that flashback scene where Joker shows Batman the reel of Robin captive and then all you see is Batmans face horrified. Well THIS version SHOWS YOU what the Joker did to Robin and has more "adult" scenes.
