Well for me high def has become standard for me. It is just how movies need to be viewed regardless of what they are. I will not buy dvds anymore. And they aren't buy FOR YOU. They Resident Evil movies made tons of money and are popular whether you like it or not. And Stealth is just a movie that takes full advantage of what HD has to offer.

You know, in the future you're gonna see movies like Howling V: The Rebirth and Blood Freak Blu-ray. Are they worth it? Don't know, but BD is the future. Everything's gonna be released on it. At least for the next five years until a new format comes.

I wanted to buy them, so I did. Although I don't use $ as a currency I certainly didn't pay the equivalent of $20+ or more for them. The maximum I paid for those besides Assassination of Jesse James would've worked out at roughly $15.

BluRay has become my choice for home viewing and the fact that I import them from the US just makes it cheaper for me. I always believe that if the currencies were the same then I'd be paying $7-8 for BluRay movies... not bad if I say so myself

Honestly, I don't care about the quality of the image or sound. I'm just like that.

I do have to say that Blu-Ray needs to have a better selection of TV shows, pronto. That's the selling point right there of the DVD. Hell, I'm still waiting for my Perfect Strangers.

If you ain't playing your Blu-ray on a HD TV, then there is no point in getting one. (Assuming your regular 22 inch TV isn't HD.)
