They are, but that doesn't mean my HD DVDs and HD DVD player doesn't still do a great job! And I bought those for $8 each sealed. I could do that and have them now, or I could wait around until it eventually hits Blu-ray someday and pay $20+ each for them then.

i just picked up the lost world: jurassic park.... i'd had a craving to watch it since i read the book the other day.

I've also read the books. They're the only books I've ever read outside of the ones I had to read in English class for school. I remember the Jurassic Park Trilogy set was actually one of the first DVDs I bought back in 2001. I've stopped collecting DVDs. Things just change.
