I like Elfman for Burtons film, that main theme was right on. For Begins though, I did really like its soundtrack as well. Would've been nice to at least here that main theme though.

I also prefer Howard and Zimmer's theme.

that was ok. It could have been synced better with the music though.

Hah! What an analogy. I'd say the same, they might not really fit together.

I prefer Howard and Zimmer's scores for Begins. However, Elfman is one of the greatest.

The Danny Elfman score is iconic. It has an epic feeling. The Burton films have the spirit of Batman. It's that feeling that surrounds Batman. The Elfman score is Batman, that is his music, it is just right. That new score just isn't it, it's very good but not as good as the original.

The Danny Elfman score is timeless.
Agreed, but it only works with the operatic B89. Anybody else else feel that the Batman theme didn't even fit that well in BR?

The Danny Elfman score is timeless.
Agreed, but Howard and Zimmer's score for Begins is timeless as well.

I don't really like Begins, but I got goosebumps watching that trailer. The music made it ten times better.
