Hey, I'm a new ultimate fan. Gave up Spidey comics since 2000's because it's turning from bad to worse. 'Tis the time they introduced Jill Stacey and MJ "died" in an airplane accident. I don't know what happens after that 'coz I had it...
I didn't embrace the ultimate comics line 'coz I fancy myself a conservative :D, but I'm warming up on the gritty situations and the fast-paced action... :up:
As would I. But Ultimate Marvel is "tame". No worse than a PG or PG-13 movie. Ultimate Marvel is a great place to start if you've been out of touch with the regular Marvel Universe. I like to think of it as a "graduation" sort of thing. Ultimate Marvel is great, really great. But after you get familiar with the characters you can move on to 616 universe.
