According to Moviehole.net, we get to see the trailer before anybody freaking awesome.

Following a mysterious absence of several years, the Man of Steel comes back to Earth in the epic actionadventure "Superman Returns", a soaring new chapter in the saga of one of the world’s most beloved superheroes.

While an old enemy plots to render him powerless once and for all, Superman faces the heartbreaking realization that the woman he loves, Lois Lane, has moved on with her life. Or has she? Also, I'm seeing a sneak preview of MI3 on the 4th, so we'll see what happens there as well. The worker I talked to said whatever trailers that are supposed to be attached, will be.

the effects are so complex. the action is so complex in this movie that they needed to finish the effects to show the scene. because othervise it would look unifinished(cough'' less then one month before the premiere X3 realeses a clip with unfinished effects ''cough).

yeah, usually you can find the latest movies on DVD on the same day or before the actual release date. usually the quality is crap, maybe taped from the theatres or some screening versions that got leaked away.

the reason why the cinemas play certain movie (usually a potential box-office) in conjunction (sometimes even earlier) with the release date in the U.S. is because they are trying to beat the piracy.
