What issue was it? There have always been different styles of the ears, it's a matter of who they're drawn by.

Sounds like Kelly Jones' art to me.

Would it be Batman #497?

if youre talking about the Scarecrow issue, thats Kelley Jones artwork. He has been the topic of many debates when it comes to art styles.

Tim Sale drew the Bat ears pretty damn long IMO but I doubt that is the comic he is referring to. :P

if by "debates" you mean 99% of the people on this board loathe him, you are correct sir :o

99% loathed him? That's a hefty exaggeration. He may be not as good as some Bat-artists, but I and others liked him just fine. He had his own unique style, unlike a lot of more popular Bat-artists. Still, I can see why some can't stand him. His style is better suited to the occasional graphic novel, I think it was probably a mistke to hire him on as the regular artist on the books.

I like Kelley Jones' art. It has an interesting, dark, surrealistic quality to it. But i do agree that the ears were too long.

I was viewing his Batman drawings and not only do the ears bother me but the facial expressions he draws on Batman's face. Another thing was some picture I saw of Batman having sharp teeth? wtf?

horrid...although I do hate his batman with a passion, he was very good with alot of the other character, specifically az-bats...

Sharp teeth? Like a vampire? That's the Vampire trilogy. Red Rain, Bloodstorm and Crimson Mist.
