But yeah Superman. There are DB Z/GT characters that can beat Superman, but he is not one of them.

As just a question: why is it so important that your characters could beat other characters? I see that alot with these Dragonball threads, beating Western superheroes. Dragonball characters are deliberately written to just be more and more powerful. Supes is at times too, but still, it's comparing apples to oranges.

And I've seen people on the other side get mad too. That this newer, Anime character can beat their 70-year-icon.

The whole thing is silly. It can fun to argue. I like both DBZ and DC. But to act like it means anything, and that one is better because of it, is silly.

I've spoken to fans before who feel it's VITALLY important that their heroes are more powerful, and they don't see any appeal for characters like Batman or Hawkeye or whoever because they aren't superpowerfed. They don't understand that there's such a thing as a good CHARACTER, regardless of who he can or can't beat up

I agree totaly with you Elijya :), Another point that is being missed is that Krillin wasn't much of a fighter because he knew his own limits and he knew that his power level was no good when fighting much stronger opponents, but the fact that he tried to ask the Androids to not hurt or attack Goku, shows that he is more of a peaceful person, than a fighter :)

Like Elijya said, it's not about the fighting ability, it's about the character :)

The winner of any "Vs" topic will ALWAYS be Goku. It doesn't matter who's involved, or if Goku doesn't even enter into the equation at all. So, for example:

Krillin vs Superman - Goku wins
Tom vs Jerry - Goku wins
Spiderman vs The Thing - Goku wins
A squirrel vs a chimpmunk - Goku wins
A shark vs a bear - Goku wins

Goku always wins.

First, no offense at all, but please spellcheck. People will probably respect your opinions more. I'm not insulting you, I'm saying this as advice.

The last time Krillin could come close to beating Goku they were, like, 12, so that point is moot. Krillin is certainly skilled, but that doesn't mean Supes isn't. He's not as skilled as others, but it's not as if he has no idea what he is doing. He is also MUCH faster than Krillin is, so he can easily still out of the way of the most skilled attacks.

Superman can be overrated, but that doesn't mean he couldn't still defeat the majority of opponents he comes up against. He's supposed to be able to, it's part of his character.

True, the energy-disc goes through all matter, that's why Seru and Buu had regenerection, since they wouldent survive a energy-disc without it.

all bias aside krilian would win because he can increase his PL expodentially something superman has never been able to do. Plus krilian is a better martial artist and has techniques that kills superman immediately.

He can't increase his power at will. And as I said before Supes is much faster than Krillin. He can easily avoid any attack.

He can increase his power through training, but that is of no use if he is in a battle already.

Superman can also move that fast. And can Krillin actually go that fast? I'm sure Goku or Gohan can, but Krillin? Also, the disc itself is easily seen while moving, so it's not anywhere near the speed of light, even if Krillin is.

dbz characters are only fast if its a short distance

well then again i dont know much about superman, except from whats in movies and cartoons (not a superman fan)... but from what ive seen superman flies around the world fast, while in dbz they always seem to be taking forever just flying to their destination

2. He has a bigger attack
3. He can destroy a world since frieza did it with a powerlevel of 5,000
4. He has a faster fighting style
5. He's fought with Goku
6. He's no slouch
7. He can figure out ways to bring the best of opponents down
8. He could cut through mountains with his disc.
