Ultimate Colossus is different from Colossus in the regular Marvel universe. Northstar on the other hand is openley gay in both the Ultimate Universe and the regular Marvel universe. It is part of his character.

Scrambler (Kim Il Sung), can disrupt electrical, mechanical, physiological, and mutant systems with a touch.

Morlocks:

Trader - a chameleon-like ability to camouflage into his surroundings.

Healer - He burned himself out in Uncanny X-Men #291 to heal and restore Callisto.

Nasty Boys:
Ramrod (Charles Grovemont) can psionically control wood and plants. He always carries with him a staff of wood. Similar powers to Black Tom.

Ruckus - mutant power to absorb ambient sounds, amplify them in his body and scream them back with great force. Similar powers to Siryn.

Conclusion - it could be any mutant whose powers have not been seen so far, regardless of ethnicity or nationality.

Apparently, Spyke may make an appearance in X3...

and I don't think there's anything lame about Spyke's likeness to Marrow...There are some slight differences between their powers and it's not the first encounter of one or more mutants sharing similar powers...I guess in this case, the biggest problem most people have with Spyke is how he was not originally from the comics..

The way I see the guy I think he could either be Gambit, Forge, Northstar, Thunderbird II(Neal Sharra one),Fabian Coretz, Exodus, Unus, Radius, Black Tom Cassidy, or Legion. Again this is all solely based on looks.

I also though it could possibly Morph since Mystique is nowhere to be found.

It's not Gambit(accept it and move on please), Neal Sharra(because we already have a fire user), or Morph(we already have a shape shifter). Black Tom and Exodus are both supposed to be much older, so they don't fit either.

The whole Lizard Man thing has been bothering me since I heard it because I don't think its the character's name but rather a description of what his powers are... Now as someone mentioned earlier this guy doesn't exactly look like a lizard but, who's to say he's always got to look like that? I was sure there was a character that had the power to morph into a lizard-like humanoid but that looks like a normal human being when not using his powers... and I just remember who. His name is Primal. He was featured in one of the X-Men Unlimited solo stories and he was a teenager with black hair who become this muscular lizard like thing. I will look for a pic to share... but anyway, he could be a possibility. He's deffinitely obscure like Quill, if not more so.

Based on our experiences in trying to guess Ken's character, it's very difficult to narrow things down based on popularity/prominence, known allegiances, ethnicity or nationality.. which doesn't leave any awful lot left to base it on.

When I first saw the pic I immediatly thought of gambit (with unfinished eyes of course). It's unlikely that it's him, but the guy there certainly looks enough like the character to warrant some suspicion.

Maybe some people could post some more real comparison pictures for mutants that this could be. The fact that they hid his presence for so long clearly means that this character is likely to be someone they feel fans will be pleasantly surprised with. And for the people saying it's defenitely not Gambit, sure it's unlikely, but it is possible that they were flat out lying so some people would be surprised.

On another note, maybe this guy fights wolverine in the woods. We have all assumed he fights multiple man, but has there been a clear picture of who wolverine is fighting? I haven't seen one. And who is to say he doesn't fight more than one person.

People involved in the making of the film have also said that everything Ricky Hoggard said was a lie, though a lot of what he said was proven true by the spots; Brett Ratner also said Haley Ramm wasn't even in the movie, whic obviously she is. They are making a whole lot of last minute touch ups and additions, it wouldn't be suprising to me if that actor was in fact playing Gambit. I'm still also all for the Northstar idea.

Ok, first of all, Ricky was only partially right about one thing: Storm pulling Wolverine away from something crushing a car. That's it, but he was still partially wrong about that because it wasn't a Sentinel foot, it was a giant rock. Second, it was Kinberg that said that, which can probably be attributed to him not having interaction with every actor in the film. What they have vehemently stated over and over again is that Gambit is not in the film, and they would not give him just a cameo because it wouldn't do the character justice. And as far as these "last minute additions", a whole new character is not just something to add at the last minute, because it would be incredibly small and pointless.

Even the smallest parts do have substance and I'm not trying to sound like an after school special or anything but as much as the studios want to make money, they like pleasing fans because the fans bring them money. If they do something small like adding in a cameo for a well-know and liked character, that makes them look better and will have the fans wanting more. It's basic business.

They have also stated on numerous times, and gone into length, why Gambit will not be in the film. If they go against that, then it makes them look like they purposely lied to fans, and will not put them in a good light, which will make people not take them seriously in the future.
