Bruce Wayne wakes up, it was all a dream
There was actually an episode in Batman: The Animated Series that went something like that. I believe it involved The Scarecrow.

You are morbid!!!!
JEEEZ, I would like to see the Joker almost semi dead... And then months later at the trial,, Joker is wrapped up in stitches and everything... and then Harvey Dent is trying to prosecute him and Joker throws something in his face.. The Joker is taken way.. And this all leads into the beginnings of part three... Where you would see before the screen fades,, Harvey blaming something on Batman,, and a sillouette of the other side of Harvey...
BTW, I also like the idea of Nolan using semi known actors to play the roles of Batman or the Joker etc. So, even if he dont pick Robin Williams, I am confident he would pick a actor that would fit INTO the role of the Joker and play him to a Tee.. He picked perfect people across the board so far.
The choice for the Penguin i think is good too.

it involved Mad Hatter who wanted Batman out of the way so he hook a machine to his head where Bruce's parents were alive and he was going to marry Selina Kyle. Hatter calling it "perfect dream" something like that.

Well Ive already posted my idea for this somewhere else.
Joker beats Batman mentally by killing Rachael at end. Batman wants to quit but knows he cant. Joker shows up in number 3 where Batman finally beats him.

Close up of the Joker laughing hysterically in a straitjacket as the camera slowly pans away from him out of the cell the camera then spins 180 degrees heads out of arkham and you see the night sky. Maybe the batsignal goes off.

Are you Robin Williams' agent? Why the hell do you drop his name in EVERY thread you post in, whether it's relevant or not? I think your warranty expired, chombatta.

I just want to hear a narration of Bruce/Batman saying
"I Believe in Jim Gordon, I believe in Harvey Dent, I believe in Gotham City"
With some shots over the city, of Dent in his hospital bed with Gilda by his side, with Gordon in his office working hard on the job, and then cut to Batman on a gothic building ledge
that would be beautiful :O

Remeber this will be a while after begins, so for a begining it should be (or what i would like to see) : rain falling in a puddle (Ala TKJ) then splash a bloody Joker is thrown into it, laughing he looks up and spits blood into the chest of the batman who wipes it away we go up and look at his face and we tell by the look on his face and the sound that he stamps on the jokers head (PG 13 dont forget) He looks up at the door of Blackgate prision and says to the prision wardens (with foot still on Mr J's head) something like 'Try and keep him longer this time' and the guards say something like ' Hey give us a break we're not trained for these guys, sooner arkham is finished the better' As for the end i would like to see everything going to merry hell, Dent scarred, Mr J on the loose again, Rachel dead, Gordon stressed beyond belief (now commisioner as Leob has been replaced after a vote of lack of confidence) Alfred looking out of a rain washed window, Dr Thompson looking over his shoulder and last shot Batman standing on a ledge holding an item of Rachel's clothing scarf, or something (nad remeber it's PG13 guys...no undies) Bat's jumps off ledge and were out. ( all this was set to the sound of THunder, lightning and rain...no music till bat's jumps)

two things wrong with your ideas Qui Gon, i wouldn't want Joker contiually braking out of Arkham or Blackgate, that works for the comics but for a film it will get boring and make Gordon, Batman and the whole of the GCPD look like morons.
second, Gordon would be made captain next, not Commisioner, i like the idea of Gordon being under pressure from his boss for working with Batman, at least for another film.

A Multi event ending shaping things to come
First off while these events are happening having a tune similar to the one used in spy game with the woman singing and tragic yet beautiful tune
Bruce wayne and talia being taken from his rebuilt home by Boat cut to a scene where Jim gordon being promote to captain or chief cut to harvey dent publicity celebration speaking to reporters being political.(Music still playing) Cut to Arkham Asylum a blonde woman sitting in a chair she is clearly visable another man is in the room painting her face she's smiling w/ a tear coming down her face and later a guard finds the joker's cell empty. Cut to wayne enterprises lucious looking disturbed sitting in his 3000 Square foot office Pondering. Cut to Alfred sitting at home going through some files labled MI6. Cut Back to Bruce wayne in the desert in a cell w/ a shadowy figure looking at him face is in darkness but the bearded grey bangs are visable turns around and closes the door.

It would be better, if BB2 had "to be continued" end.
Batman will lose control and became the rude and more serious, no prisoners.
Joker will be captured in Arkham.
Harvey Dent will finaly become Two-Face and want to have a revenge with Batman.
What about Rachel? I dont know, it is Nolan's choic of events.
I honestly don't have the time to write it in script format, so here is a rought draft of what I would do:
The Joker brutally destroyed Rachel Dawes' mind. Her body is there but her mind is not due to the psychological torture---this almost drives Batman over the edge, and he almost beats The Joker to death, already forshadowing their great rivalry. Think of THE KILLING JOKE.
Harvey Dent was injured by Salvatore Maronia while in court, and his face is badly mutilated. We get a close up of his face, heavily bandaged. Only his eyes can be seen. He shuffles some cards, then his eyes rest on an old quarter of no value. He seems to try to smile, and he reaches out to get it, flicking it into the air and catching it head's up.
Batman stands next to a stone gargoyle, looking like a winged demon, and with epic music the film ends.

This is how I would end it.
Harvey Dent opening the door to his apartment. He hears something of to the side and stops. He blows it off and goes inside. walks over to his refrigerator and grabs a beer. when he sits down he turns a light on and sitting across from him is the joker. He moves for a gun in the seat cushin but the joker throws the acid at him. as he screams in pain Batman Bursts through the window. He looks at the Joker and says"No More" then the screen Cuts to black.
What No! I want Joker to throw acid to Dent's face in court room when questioned.

I think it should end really tragically.
The Joker abducts Gordon's wife and kills her. Gordon is driven mad and we get glimpses of "The Killing Joke" but Batman warns him that if he kills Joker he'll only be going down the same path as him: to hell.
So, Batman goes after The Joker and they have a fight in an abandoned funhouse (which serves as The Joker's hideout). Joker of course uses booby-traps, explosives, and toys to try and get rid of the Bat, but Batman is always one step ahead of him.
Finally, Joker gets cornered in a room of mirrors and begins blasting each mirror with his pistol trying to kill the one true Batman, but unfortunately all he hits is glass.
Suddenly...he is left in darkness, breathing heavily, until up above we see Batman looming over him. The Joker looks up to the ceiling and aims, but Batman kicks him in the jaw and just totally beats the **** out of The Joker until he is laying on the ground unconscious.
Then we hear Batman say, "Now that's funny..."
Then, in the end we cut to the funeral of Gordon's wife and we see a young Barbara now without a mommy. Gordon vows to work with Dent and Batman to clean up this city till there's nothing left to clean up.
And then that's the end.
