How many fights do you think there should be?

These are just the fights between Spiderman and the main villain.

In Spider-Man 1 I think theres 3 fights isnt there;

SM vs GG at festival = SM wins.
SM vs GG in burning home = GG wins?
SM vs GG in house ruins = SM wins.

Then In Spider-Man 2 I think there are also 3 right?

SM vs DO bank attack = SM wins?
SM vs DO on train = DO wins
SM vs DO on edge of harbour = Kind of a draw/

For number 3 though theres more than one villain Sand man and Green Goblin 2 I dont believe that Venom will be in this film. The battles I think there should be:

SM vs GG2 dont know where = SM wins
SM vs Sand man with the armored truck scene = Sand man wins
SM in black suit vs GG2 and Sand man in church= SM wins

I dont know what should happen next but Black Spiderman beats them both.

A bell in the church rings SM loses his Black suit, Eddie then gets it.

SM is worn out Sandman is about to kill him GG2 goes normal saves SM but dies himslef.

3 or 4 battles should be enough in SM3.

What i would kill for is some decent story.

unfortunately with the line up of villains, i find it hard to see each fight being unique, the more included teh more repetitive they would become.

the ones in the first film were kinda repetitive
all the ock fights were similar (and in structure similar to the gg ones from the first film).

i'm with you on that. villian team ups are a no no in my books. but maybe it will be spidey and 2 other villians fighting, but its everyman for himself. i don't know how it would be done, but just have everyone against each other. its possible. i take it over team ups, especially if venom is one of the villians, to put it plain and simple, he's a loner.

you said spidey never defeats his bad guys straight up?

in the first film at the end he beats goblin and wins the fight. what happened at the end was irrelevant to the fight that occured and stopped moment before. who remains alive at the end can be independantly viewed from who gained victory in the battle if the death was not caused by the battle itself and was due to an incident previous of thereafter.

as for ock, there are too many techinicalities in their battles, that's far more open to intepretation so thats just going to get dragged out.

so for the benefit of the doubt, i'll say in his first film.


oh and for the record, Spidey killed Wolverine's girl in berlin by smashing her face in while some say his actions also killed gwen while attempting to save her but believe what you will.

parker isnt so squeaky clean.

Lets see a new charector, even though it isnt Harry in the comics.. .but Ned Leeds does stumble upon Normans layer right? And Ned is the first one to stumble upon Normans secret hideout before Harry even discovered the horrible, private, dark, embarrassing secret of his father.

So, I think that would be the coolest thing. And it should be an event that happends outside of the story,, not within it.. I think it should be like that dramatic fight with Smoke and Lu Kang in Mortal Kombat.. A inconsequential fight,, but everyone got off their seats in shock and awe!! They all cheered and serenaded the screen!!! I looked around and people had their hands on their head.. An old lady had to be fanned and woken up!The ushers sat down, audience got up! I saw tears running down someone's cheek as they witnessed this scene! It was a moment to last forever in movie history!!

no offense, but the mortal kombat movies were horrible, i didn't see them in the theater, but i can't believe i wasted time watching on t.v. please don't compare Spider-Man to those movies, for my sake at least :)

harry has to be the green goblin, he found the lair, and why would he call himself the hobgoblin? in SM1, norman didn't name himself, j.j came up with the name, so if the goblin comes around again in the city, my guess is they will call it the green goblin again, not GG2, just green goblin, but us as the fans know its GG2 and not hobgoblin. just my opinion.

I'm looking forward to 3 or 4 main battles.

Now, while I understand the concern raised against team-up battles, I think it could stand to be quite cool if they used the right effects - if they showed the two villains fighting Spidey TOGETHER, working TOGETHER, and not just trying to fight Spidey on their own at the same time - that would look pretty cool.

On the other hand, I don't think HarryGoblin will be a very powerful villain - he'll definitely take a backseat to Sandman. I think he'll mainly be present to be a nuisance to Spidey and an emotional complication for Peter. I mean, Harry is a whiny, none-too-bright, impulsive, showboating drunk in the films. He is not HALF the man his father was - I don't think he'll be at the same threat level as DaddyGoblin.
